Batons instead of blobs,
Applied Arabic numerals rather than painted,
Same/similar case and size,
some sunburst or gradient dials,
less use of orange
and
(sorry but I have to state this) name/logo only at 12 if used.

Any of the gang like to share what they’d like to see in the refreshed C65 range?
I would like for CW to stop being inspired to Rolex's DNA (round indices, orange GMT hand, etc...).

Was disappointed with the C63 as its design was too similar to the Explorer 2.

Would like to see a brown sunray dial with guilloche intricacies.....a contemporary inspired design vs the current vintage....still be thin as this is one of the features I love about the C65.....and has to have applied hour indices (not Rolex round ones please!!)...

For the GMT, how about no outside marked bezel insert.....would love to see printed 24 hour markers on the dial like Grand Seiko does or a 12 hour hand like Panerai with the am/pm indicator......just different than a Rolex.......would be cool to see a trident themed GMT hand or one that complements the signature second hand....

For me the 41mm C65 is peak watch, I have four and think they are fantastic. I have a number of C60's of various Mk's but they always end up sitting in drawer as the C65's gobble up the wrist time.

I hope the MkII's are a slight improvement and not a radical departure.

They tried the deck watch look a few years ago with the C9 5-day Small Second, a hand winder with SH21.

I did consider it but didn’t buy it. Not sure quite where it would fit in the collection now.
Wow, that's a beauty!!! (Great font and placement too)...

At 42mm, an SH21 and absolutely no numbers on the dial it would be great.

The new Loupe has put some more flesh on this:

Sapphire bezel insert?
Domed crystal
Applied blob and baton indices with bold triangle at 12
Trident style handset (hopefully not with vintage lume)
No date at 3, moved to 6 or maybe a no-date model?
No word mark at 12, replaced by applied Swiss/English flag logo
To be rebranded as a new family and released in April.

Looks interesting... maybe they've moved the CW word mark to six, after all it's been everywhere else

The longer word being in the bigger part of the dial would look good, assuming it was centred. There's probably room for flags below a date at 12 too

If only they would just choose where the logo/wordmark is and stick to it. With no date at 3 it must be gone...All new watches from Summer 2022 and then the C60 could follow with the same.

At least there is consistency across all C63 models whilst the C60 models have a bit of everything at the moment. Not sure why the move is so drawn out, especially with so many new releases lately that will be odd as soon as another change happens...Just get on with it ](*,)!

The man himself has gone, we are in the middle of a Very big and slow rebrand.

So, we have a triangle at 12, blobs with batons at 3, 6 and 9, no date, vintage box style crystal. It’s the long awaited Ceramic Bezel Black Bay

The date might be at 6, that seems to be the trend.

The teaser and what I imagine from it hasn’t whet my appetite, especially after I took a closer look at the Blancpain as signposted as one of the influences. But I do hope reality is different as I’m a big fan of the C65 and am looking forward to the release.

Any thoughts on what the ‘big step up in quality’ might be?
