C65 Trident Exhibition Caseback?

Post by iamnamednamed »

Hello all,

Brand new to the forum and a soon to be first time CW owner. Purchased a blue dial C65 Trident (Hand Wind) and it will be here tomorrow. I purchased it (used but in super good shape with the bracelet) for the same price as a Hamilton Khaki Auto would have run me new.... so not too bad!

The only part that I genuinely wish this watch has and which may be a deal breaker on if I keep it is the case back. I am a sucker for exhibition case backs. I could watch the escapement wheel turn for hours. Does anyone make a clear case back for the C65?

Is that the one with numerals at 6 and 12? It's a great watch. I feel the same about a display back, especially when you haven't got a rotor blocking the view.

And welcome to the forum! And the wonderful world of CW watches.

Wouldn't have thought this would be available after market unless it is a standard part so i'd suggest you just buy a watch with an exhibition caseback....!!!
