C65 Trident Diver
Re: C65 Trident Diver
Aafter waiting for another watch since February, with no prospect in sight, I have today returned to the fold in a sense and ordered (pre-) a blue C65 with June’s discount. Looking forward to this, a very belated 60th present!

I'm agonisingly close to pulling the trigger on the blue as a replacement for the blue C60 I sold to "balance the books" ... don't kid yourself Ry!

Re: C65 Trident Diver
Mine arrived a few weeks ago ahead of the advertised 'arrival mid June' which was a welcome surprise. I chose the black & tan and I like it, even my wife noticed it and commented approvingly (disaster adverted).
It's a good looking watch that fits well on my wrist although I do catch myself shaking my wrist to wind it (once in a while)
I wear it pretty much daily in rotation with some of my other watches and the only thing that appears to be mildly amiss is the embossed English/Swiss logo which completely vanishes in most light; it can really only be seen in sunlight. I think that some coloring (perhaps the same as the 12 & 6?) in the bottom of the embossing would be quite striking but this is a minor issue for me.
A lovely watch.

Just had the dispatch confirmation. I guess when CW say ‘early July’ they mean what they say!

Thanks Leszek. Nice photos.
I anticipate I will be. After waiting five months and largely being treated like a mushroom for a different brand, this feels so much more like first class service.

Firstly, as a confessed techno-sceptic (details available on request) there will be no photos.
Secondly, what a fantastic watch. I do not like big watches and was hoping the Diver would not ‘wear big’. No need to worry. I am also very pleased with the rubber strap. (I have a bracelet on the ubiquitous Seiko 5, a Hirsch leather on the C5 Aviator and blue leather on the FLE2015.)
The colour combinations of the face and markers is very well executed. The icing on the cake is that so far, the watch is within two seconds of setting it to GMT on Monday evening. Remarkable.
This one is staying on the wrist for the rest of the summer, no doubt at all.
