Whilst I understand your concerns, I really don't think that you are going to be able to get the answers you are looking for here.

You will only ever know what the watch looks like on your wrist, when it is..... On your wrist. Two 6.75 inch wrists will wear the same watch completely differently based on wrist shape etc.

The 60:60 is there to make sure that you are satisfied. Yeah it is a pain in the arse if you don't like the watch, but it means that you will give the watch every opportunity to impress you. It really is the only way that you will know for certain.

It is absolutely possible to over think these things and you seem to be in the situation where you are going round in circles. We have all been there!!!!! I have been there many times and you can then start to obsess.

My suggestion is to take a step back, relax, let the watch arrive and see what you think.

Chances are you will like it, but if you don't, send it back or sell it on here

You need to get it on your wrist to know for sure, and to me, for the sale price it is worth the punt!!!!!

That seems like good advice ant the most sensible approach. I am indeed going round in circles.

I will try to take it more easy. Bit easier said than done though but the 60 :60 definitely takes some pressure off.

The only thing that sucks is that taxes and duties are non refundable. Still the price is quite reasonable.

Thanks for your help,

Felipe.

We have all been there my friend!

This is a crazy hobby that drives us all a little mad. :)

Please do still ask questions though if you need to!!!!! We know what it is like to be waiting for a watch to arrive. It is awful!!!!!

I am sure that when it arrives, your concerns will melt away.

That looks large mate... but probably it is mostly the focus playing tricks. When I took wrist shots of My C60 it also seemed bigger. I think you or someone said it is actually 43mm but I am pretty sure the C60 is just a tad under that (Around 42.75 or something) so some say it is 42 and others 43". Int he CW site as you know they say 43 but I think it is just under that. Isn't it exactly the same case as the C60? Also, I have the impression that because of the larger exposed dial, comparing to C60, the hour markers and hands are also longer?

I too plumped for one of these.
Been semi regularly checking for updates on the clearance page (as I took too long to decide on a C60 GMT and then missed out) so when I saw these pop up I had to go for one. My main dilemma was which colour combo. Went for white on brown leather in the end, so will see what that's like before possibly looking at a bracelet later on.
Just hope it doesn't look too big on, reading all the above comments! I have a C7 and think that's on the limit for what looks ok on my wrist (6.75"). But there's no hiding this watch seems generally well received, so fingers crossed it looks fine though and roll on mid April.

I have to admit I could not decide, so ordered the white on brown. After 10 agonizing minutes I also ordered a black on black. At the 50% off I just could not resist or restrain. Phillip

Similar here, last thing I actually need is another watch, but having missed out on previous sales I couldn't resist.
Really prefer the white face C65 so went for that on a black strap.

You don't really have a lot of time to think on it as they sell out so fast.

Does anybody know why they're pre-order for mid April, if they're clearance items ?

I didn't realise they were. When I bought mine last week it said nothing about pre-order.

I thought it was just pre-order for the Rose Gold one?

The watch parts are already held by the Swiss atelier and the watches assembled to order. The 'Clearance Sale' is a marketing tool to which many Forum members are happy to succumb!

Robin

I don't agree with the inference that the 'Clearance Sale' is somehow disingenuous - in this case the C65 is being cleared out to make way for the next gen version, so whether it is a clearance of completed items or sets of parts that need assembling is irrelevant. CW are still clearing the old stock ready for new - they are not going to bin all the remaining parts just because they haven't yet been assembled.

It seems a pretty smart ( but in no way deceptive ) move: all the old stock ( assembled or otherwise ) gets cleared in one hit without the potential wasted resource of assembling superseded products that could sit in storage unsold.

I am not sure what there is to succumb to, other than a very nice product at a very attractive price.

BTW I didn't 'succumb' on this occasion!

Paul, I think you should re-read my comment. Nowhere did I say or imply that the sale was disingenuous or deceptive. Maybe I touched a raw nerve!
