I use 750 tpd (clockwise onky) and seems to work well

According to the CWArchives, the requirements are 680 / clockwise. This information came directly from CW service.

Yes, I saw that… the only settings on the Barrington are 650 and 750 :problem:

I chose to slightly overwind… perhaps I should try 650 and see if they stay fully wound or slightly lose PR each day…

Thank you! CW are happy to have it back free of charge and with luck it's a straight forward fix like your Seiko 🙌

My C65 is back at CW this morning but look at the name at "Signed for by:" toward the bottom of the screenshot 🤔

Wow, the virus has really mutated if it is now sentient. Too bad it hasn’t mutated enough to improve its penmanship.

The watch is being repaired under warranty with a 10 - 12 week lead time and back with me around the beginning of February with a bit of luck.

UPDATE: C65 SH21 LE not auto-winding

Post by RichM »

Hi Everyone,

my C65 arrived back yesterday from its second warranty repair. It's great to have it back a little earlier than the original repair schedule suggested.

I can hear the rotor spinning now when I'm wearing it and I'm going to let it run down a little before wearing it to make sure it's working again correctly.

That's all great news. Did the repaired watch come with a work sheet or any kind of note of what had been done?

^^^ there was just a sales invoice for £0.00 stating movement repair with a pressure test certificate (which is exactly the same size and paper as tickets on our local bus) attached. No other information.

I'm pleased it's back and so far working well!
