Many of mine seem to have a dive bezel, sometimes narrow like the C65 or a flattish tachymeter. like a speedmaster with a box crystal standing proud

If they don't have a tool bezel, then they tend to be vertical bezels if you will, with a flat crystal, rather than framing a box crystal. I think the "naked bezel" look will take a bit of time to get used to. Maybe it's not flat, maybe it's angled - it's hard to tell from pictures. Does anyone know what the bezel profile is like? :D

How on earth can you get pictures like that to zoom in, and post? I tried copying a CW gallery shot to zoom in, but I can't copy and paste anything from the website.

I cheated of course! I clicked the pic above to enlarge it from the website then used Windows Snip & Sketch to grab a jpg of the image!

Definitely an unpopular opinion, but after the Bel Canto, a BB36 homage is a bit...lacking.

The applied logo is a fantastic addition though.

I thought this was a very smart addition, I like the blue face with Steel bracelet and the Sand model, but would prefer a bit more definition in colour on the hands. The older I get the worse it is to read light on light hands without my glasses!

Love these 38mm cases, but give me a C65 vintage or mk1 sandhurst every time over these ones.

With each iteration these are becoming more homogeneous with the rest of the range, which means them less and less appealing to me.

I've been spending time in the archive and I'm travelling forward through the timeline of CW magazines.

Loupe dropped on the mat two days ago; I glanced at it yesterday and I found myself perceiving "likenesses" to the original C3/C5 Malvern line: it's just a feeling, one of those "close your eyes to a squint" moments

Did you mean to post this here or in the “what are you drinking” thread?

Sorry, couldn’t resist.....

I really like these, but then, I love field watch and near field watches and if they are British or at least British-looking, so much the better.

My most worn piece in my collection is the Vertex M100 (original manual wind). I added a Pinion Neutron earlier this year and while not a real field watch, it is close with a 38mm all-sandblasted case, alternating Arabics and batons, and a broad, lume-heavy handset. However, the sunburst blue sector dial with Guilloche center and lack of railroad minute track makes it quite a bit dressier than the 40mm Vertex.

After agonizing over these since launch I finally ordered the White Sand color C65 Dune with bracelet, though it was a very difficult choice between the Dune and the Sandhurst, especially since I prefer no-date watches. In the end, the dial color won me over. It should be delivered Monday or Tuesday.

Absolutely love this watch. Trying to find one for resale since they're no longer available.
