C65 Bracelet

Post by Htownsend »

I'm after some help with regards to my C65 Sandstorm that I recently acquired. I would like to get a bracelet for it, do any of CW's new bracelets fit, or would i have to get an original? If it is an original do other model bracelets fit. I have also toyed with the idea of fitting a tide strap if any else has done that. Any help much appreciated.

As best as I can recall, none of CWs current bracelets will fit the sandstorm.

As for an original bracelet, the only common model I can think of is the C65 Sandhurst Series 1 (not the current series 2).

Availability will be tight but you might like to try Wardhoard.

Thanks Guy, i had a feeling it was going to be model specific. Will try Ward hoard, might also try CW themselves just in case they have an old one hanging around gathering dust somewhere, might get lucky.

Had a reply back from CW and unfortunately nothing hanging around gathering dust, which I'm not surprised about but was worth the email just in case. Greg from Ward hoard is in contact with me so fingers crossed there. If any else has a bracelet for said watch they would like to move on, please let me know.

The older 38mm C65 case will take a tide, canvas, or leather strap of the current CW offerings. The bracelet, as Guy noted, is specific: the C65 Sandhurst 1 and Sandstorm share the same case with the C65 Vintage II and use the same bracelet. The current Dune and Sandhurst 2 have different lug length and spring bar hole locations from the older case. And also note the bracelet of the C65 Vintage that does not have the Light Catcher case has yet a different, unique, bracelet. The older Vintage has crown guards and a threaded crown that the Vintage II lacks. Got all that? ;)

I don’t suppose you happen to know the code that is stamped on the inside of the end links for the c65 vintage 2 bracelet?

Many thanks
