As I pursue a white GMT, there are three that CW offers that pique my curiosity.
The C65 Aquitaine GMT white sand version is one of the three that I have narrowed in on.
While it doesn't check off all of the boxes for me (I'll skip my meticulous, borderline OCD preferences), what is offered with it where the positives outweigh the little negatives I can see to give it strong consideration.
The watch looks stunning on a camel vintage oak leather strap. I may get it with the Bader, but the camel will be the strap of choice. The reviews I have found indicate that it may be a bit difficult to read, and the sister version that looks like a Tudor Black Bay gets better props for legibility, which I can see why, but that isn't what I am looking for.
While opinion is in the eyes of the beholder, I am looking for feedback from those who either owned it or are currently enjoying it, such as what you like(d) and dislike(d).
Thank you in advance!

I have had mine for a couple of years and have no legibility issues with these old eyes.

Re: C65 Aquitaine GMT White Sand Version
I have had mine since July 2022. Never had a problem with legibility. I tend not to bother reading online reviews of watches, I just decide whether or not I like a watch.
I think it looks good on a range of straps, as well as the bracelet… Neil

Re: C65 Aquitaine GMT White Sand Version
@nbg Thanks for the pics! I think I saw these photos while looking for information here.
I see where the recent edition has a few subtle changes, more noticeably the logo going silver and raised (pic from CW website)
My only disappointment with this watch is the lack of a consort bracelet option. I am sure the Bader is fine, but I have watches by Tag with similar bracelets to the Bader, so I was hoping for something different in steel. I have a small wrist (~6"), so I think the consort bracelet would work better. I like the style and color of the camel vintage oak strap, and I am good with that.
I appreciate the feedback!

I had to wait a while, but it was worth it. Pictures do not do these watches justice. They are stunning to the eyes.

Top notch on taking the plunge.
Here's hoping that CW produces a Consort bracelet for it in the not too distant future.

Re: C65 Aquitaine GMT White Sand Version
Yeah, it surprised me that there was no Consort bracelet, as I may have gone for it. I didn't want the Bader, as I have one on my Sealander and several steel straps on other watches.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sat Mar 08, 2025 10:31 am Top notch on taking the plunge.

I liked the look of it with the camel vintage royal oak. The strap is of excellent quality and color, but it was too long for me. I swapped it out with a smaller dark brown suede strap that fits me better. It works for now, but I am looking around for something else. (help

Unrelated, I don't notice any difference in size or comfort between the 39mm Sealander and the 41mm Aquitaine on the wrist.
While my wrist is small, larger case sizes don't bother me as long as they don't weigh too much or are too thick.

Re: C65 Aquitaine GMT White Sand Version
I feel the practicalities of the situation viz a viz the Consort bracelet, is that CW is currently limiting it to being available on watches with 20mm lugs.
Of course the C65 Aquitaine has 22mm lugs.

However, I saw over the weekend details of a Bespoke Edition C1 Bel Canto (22mm lugs) with a Titanium Consort bracelet. Maybe in time?
