It tends to happen that the initial release has only a couple of colours. The Sealanders, for example, were only available in black or white for a while.

I do think this new release is a tad more rapid than usual, though.

The Aquitaine in this colour is now a contender for my first CW watch (along with the C63 Elite, Dartmouth, C60 #tide, and Super Compressor). Though the value on this doesn't appear to be as good as the other three with their COSC movements and the SC is significantly cheaper.

Cheers,

M

It's fine, probably the best version of the Aquitaine so far. Don't like the aged lume on the bezel (I like aged lume, just not too much of it) and a no date version or a colour matched date wheel would improve it greatly.

They could‘ve make it with color matched date wheel, but I think they intentionally have left it this way- it‘s a diver and it has to be readable under water.
Unless you mean color matched with the lume‘s color…

Every iteration of this just makes the Sealander range look all the better.

I can imagine how frustrating this could be for someone who purchased one of the first colors of the Aquitaine on or after April 21st, only to see a new color they like being released just 6 weeks later on June 1st. As a suggestion for CW, in the future it might be a good idea to "preview" any future color colors that are going to be released within a certain time after the initial release so consumers can make an informed decision whether to wait a few weeks for a color they may prefer.

I understand this is not practical after a certain period of time, but something like three months might be about right. The 60/60 return policy doesn't help someone in this situation if they have worn the watch within the initial 60 day period as they couldn't get a full refund.

Releasing a new color three to six months after initial release without previewing it seems fine, but after only 6 weeks. Come on CW!

Granted I'm no dive afficianado, but I don't imagine many people need to know the date when they're under water.
