I'd have been interested to know if anyone contacted CW and asked if it was okay for the forum dedicated to their watches to discuss the new range given that it was being discussed widely elsewhere. I'd be even more interested to know if that request was declined. There's a time to admit defeat.

Given that the leaks and chatter elsewhere were only a day or so prior to the public launch, and both the Forum and CWE admins had agreed to keep the new line under wraps before the special reveals, we can let this all go, especially now that the public reveal has occurred. Our energies are better applied elsewhere, I think.

For all the hype, hope and discussion around the embargo, their own website snafu, and a few reviewers breaking the embargo, I support the idea of the forum keeping its word.

While I am not super active here and didn’t attend the pre launch, I appreciate the relationship the forum has with CW.

We get sneak peeks, we get special sales, and we even get to provide input and thoughts direct to CW for future releases sometimes.

My only question around it all if if CW may withhold info from those reviewers and sites that things live early.

Either way it won’t colour my thoughts of the brand or the forum community.

Well done at ignoring the thrust of my comment.

I think these are a nice new addition - but it would also be good to have larger models as well!

Think of it like a pocket veto.

If you must know.....no. I did not contact CW. I have no idea if CWE Admin did or not, but would be surprised if they did.
