C65 Aquitaine Collection Preview
Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection Preview
I won't discuss anything, but seriously, you would think CW could build a development version of the website to avoid a partial reveal.
Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection Preview
Yes, quite!
Also, dropping an auto-playing 55MB video file on the home page feels a little excessive. Just thinking about how much data that's going to burn through is making me twitch.

Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection Preview
We are aware that the CW website is showing images of the Aquitaine range at present, but believe this to be an error as the links do not work. As such, please refrain from posting images on the forum (or discussing the details) until it is clear that the launch has been formally made, which is due for tomorrow. Thanks.

I would post this message to the discussion as well, "Aquatine is the furture"welshlad wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 4:44 pm We are aware that the CW website is showing images of the Aquitaine range at present, but believe this to be an error as the links do not work. Links were working when I happened to look about an hour ago, but all gone now. As you were…move along…nothing to see here!welshlad wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 4:44 pm We are aware that the CW website is showing images of the Aquitaine range at present, but believe this to be an error as the links do not work. Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection Preview
The links didn't work for me when I tried. But, no matter, it's all gone now, as you say. None of that ever happened!

A CW launch wouldn't be a CW launch without some sort of website hiccup, I guess! It keeps the Admin Team on our toes, if nothing else!

Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection Preview
It is disappointing the pictures came out like that. I’m excited for the range regardless.

Likewise, although will wait for the official pictures and specs (and hope to god it’s a 20mm lug width) Over the years I’ve read that so many people want CW to ditch the name and just go with the logo, now it’s happened, My initial reaction is that it makes it look more like a fashion brand watch and its lost some of its CW identity
Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection Preview
I do not agree with you, i think it was much needed and the one thing that pushed so many fans away all those years ago. I also see that it is needed now that CW himself is not involved. whether they can make the full jump for a name change is yet to be seen.Mike2795647 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 10:52 amLikewise, although will wait for the official pictures and specs (and hope to god it’s a 20mm lug width) Over the years I’ve read that so many people want CW to ditch the name and just go with the logo, now it’s happened, My initial reaction is that it makes it look more like a fashion brand watch and its lost some of its CW identity

Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection Preview
Each to their own and I do hope I’m wrong when I see the proper pictures. The name has never bothered me and do I just admit that the logo is one of the better ones out there. I’ve got my tick list ready to see if this is the one for me thoughgolfjunky wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 10:56 amI do not agree with you, i think it was much needed and the one thing that pushed so many fans away all those years ago.
