Caller wrote: Thu Mar 16, 2023 4:51 pm I find the juxtaposition of the two sub dials, clumsy in execution. The markers eat into the outer ring and the dial pattern also eats into this outer ring at this point and doesn't seem particularly well finished.
Interestingly the first thing I thought was how well they'd positioned the sub dials! The 9 o'clock one balances the date at 3 nicely and as someone who gets unnecessarily excercised by munched numerals/batons I think it's nicely done.
Oh, I like the position of the sub-dials. I wasn't making reference to that, Just the bit where they both meet.

The view through the display case back is terrific, but I would prefer not to have the patterned dials. The applied logos would have looked right on these as well, I think.

I really like the blue one. Unfortunately, I’m not liquid at the moment :(

Cool looking watch. We know the CW quality will be there. But I'm picky and dial balance is important to me, I find it lacking in this watch. This same watch with the sub-dials at the 3 and 9 positions and the date at the 6 position and it would be much more to my liking. But that's just me.

Tempted on the blue. 41mm is perfect size for me. I like the wave pattern too. Great looking movement. Only the cost and an excess of blue watches in my collection is preventing me from pulling the trigger.

I happened to be viewing the CW website when these were released on 16th and ordered a Blue Marine while it was still "In Stock" so it was being prepared for despatch according to the update on my account.

Over the weekend I gave a lot of thought to why I had ordered it and last night sent a message into CW Customer Support to cancel my order. At 0915 this morning they confirmed the order had been cancelled prior to despatch.

So the £1750 not spent means I can now finish paying off my car loan 5 months earlier. :D

Well he's a doubly lucky ducky! I ordered on the 16th and I'm still "Being prepared for despatch".

Actually if I could exert any influence the order of shipping would be "CWF LE, the watch in for service, then the SH21 Snow Leopard and finally the CWA Solaris LE".

So that's the Forum LE on top, the others underneath!

You might want to send them a reminder in case they overlooked it.

During the June/July 2022 NN sale, my Super Compressor was marked "being prepared for despatch" without further movement for 13 days. It was only after I sent a chaser that day that Customer Service said they would get my order shipped at once.

I had a similar situation with a recent Sealander order. It was showing as ‘being prepared for dispatch’ for nearly a week. I contacted customer service using the website contact form and the dispatch notification came the following morning with delivery the day after.

Hmm. Whilst I'm fairly relaxed about the watch being shipped yesterday/today/tomorrow I would be disappointed if this morphed into anything sounding like "Oops, we shipped your watch to someone else and now we're all out so we'll add yours to the back order stack." No I don't want that.
