Oh man.. gorgeous watches. Im sorely tempted by the blue dialed one. But I really dont know if i can pull off a 41mm watch. My Atoll at 40 is pushing it, what do you guys think....

The physical dimensions aren't much bigger. The lug to lug is only 1/4 mm bigger. But it will visually wear bigger because of the bigger dial and no rotating bezel. That being said I am a big proponent of leaning into something that is slightly out of your comfort zone. It isn't like it is 50mm.

I would go for it. 60/60 is there to back you up and even then I don't think you would have an issue moving it if it didn't work out.

I’m guessing one’s impression if this dial might vary dramatically between pics vs. in the metal. I could totally see someone living the pic then not liking it in the flesh when it shows up and vice versa.

I’m split on it. Obviously I see what they’re doing with the snow leopard motif, and think it’s very cool, but I don’t know if I can see myself wearing a leopard print watch.
Oh come on! It's not kitten heels or something

I think its great, maybe it was me hoping for more of a GS cloud look rather than leopard

Don't CW give forum members a complimentary watch if they launch it on your birthday ? I'm sure I read that somewhere? \:D/

I hear what you’re saying. I’ve never been a fan of the PR/SS layout on any of the SH21 releases…until this Snow Leopard! (And specifically the Snow Leopard) I can’t tell you why, but the layout is working for me with this one. How odd.

Both are very nice. I suspect that while the white dial's texture may look a little weird in macro shots, the "spots" won't look so discrete/stark when seen through your normal eyes while it's on your wrist. I think it will all blend in more.

But then, who really can tell right now, just from the site photos/renders? :ka:

Absolutely gorgeous watches. The movement looks fantastic too. A little too pricy for me though (not saying they are not worth it!).

For me, the snow leopard looks better from a distance, as a nicely textured dial, close up, I'm not so sure.

I don't like the blue of the blue marine, simple as that. But I find the juxtaposition of the two sub dials, clumsy in execution. The markers eat into the outer ring and the dial pattern also eats into this outer ring at this point and doesn't seem particularly well finished. I find it a distraction and a fail.

So I don 't think I will be buying one - lol!

Looks like the first batch of the C63 Snow Leopard and Blue Marine have been sold already... both now showing "pre-order" for early July

White looks best overall but the close up macro is giving me early learning centre vibes and a bit too obvious in the print execution.

Not quite grand seiko subtlety but not the price either.

In stock sold out quickly (was it even in stock?) but everything seems pre-order these days to get the cash commitment upfront.

Order now before the April price increase but don't think they will be around that long!

Interestingly the first thing I thought was how well they'd positioned the sub dials! The 9 o'clock one balances the date at 3 nicely and as someone who gets unnecessarily excercised by munched numerals/batons I think it's nicely done.

Get rid of the sub dials and I'd be extremely keen.

Also, call it the Snowfake.
