C63 Sealander in 41mm?

Post by Geefiasco »

Do you guys think CW will release a 41mm in the Sealander?

I had the 39mm a year or so ago, but was just a tad too small for me!

I think not, the dial would look a bit too big with such a narrow bezel. The only current options are the limited editions with the SH21 movement.

The closest that you can get (occasionally) is the C65 Classic, in white.

I expect CW will offer other 41mm Sealander models because they already have. They won’t have dumped resources into developing a new size just for the one limited run of SH21-powered C63s. As to when we might see them? No idea. But the basic case enginnering has been done.

I think not. Absolutely no reason to.

If folks want a larger than 39mm watch there are plenty of options from CW and other brands.

The dial/bezel ratio of the 39mm Sealander is already less than optimal. Anything larger in that style would be worse, not better.

Split the difference and go for the 40mm C63 Sealander Elite? I believe the C63 Colchester is 41mm but you’re probably looking for a standard sealander I’m guessing.

The reason for the 41mm case, is the fact that the SH21 will not fit in anything (much) smaller. 41mm is big for a plain dial and narrow bezel, it might fit a few, but the trend is definitely going the other way.
