C63 Sealander Glasswing

Post by Redpat »

As above, my Mother recently bought a C63 in the Glasswing colourway. She had had a few very basic watches over the years, probably costing way under £100.
Like myself, over the years of working, saving and moving up the ladder, she has found herself in a comfortable position and after seeing my recent acquisitions, decided that she'd like to purchase a decent watch but not pay extortionate prices. Of course, there was only one company (in my mind) to direct her to.
I showed her a few models but they didn't peak her interest until I spied the Glasswing and knew that she'd like it. I sent her a link and moments later she had purchased in advance of release. It's been about a month since delivery and I managed to see her today for the first time since then. It's a lovely piece and changes colour dramatically depending on the environment. Most importantly, she is over the moon with it and pleased she followed my recommendation. So, I actually can do something right. 😂
I managed to grab a couple of pictures for you all.
Pat

A lovely pickup. I think the color of the glasswing is quite stunning and I can imagine it sets off so differently under different light conditions. Congratulations to her!

@Noush . It's the first proper watch she has owned and is well outside her comfort zone. Her partner and I had to explain how an automatic watch works! I think she has the hang of it now and is pleased with her purchase.
Classy and mother are not two words I am used to hearing together in the same sentence. 😂.
Thanks
Pat.

How lovely that looks on the wrist: lucky mum! The colour does indeed flip and change according to lighting.
