I purchased a blue C63 GMT on a bracelet as soon as they became available.
Yes, CW said it would arrive at the end of October but I honestly believed it would be in my hot little hands by now. It isn't.
The above post would indicate we may have to wait until SOMETIME in November. Is this accurate?
Also, this is the first time I've bought directly from CW, (my Trident C65 Classic was a gift), so I'm wondering, what's the procedure? Do we receive an email to say that 'your purchase has been posted and should arrive tomorrow' type of a thing, so we can plan to try to actually receive the damn thing or do we just arrive home to the dreaded postcard, lying on the doormat, saying 'Sorry you were not in, but...'
If anybody could set my mind at rest on either point I would be grateful.

You’ll get an email once it’s been despatched.

^^^ Further to that, your email will contain a tracking number for the delivery company. You should also receive a text naming your driver and giving a one hour slot for delivery. That’s certainly what happens in the UK, at any rate.

I’ve had packages sent to me by CW but have never had a text naming the driver or giving me a one hour delivery slot. However, I have received despatch emails from CW. I just wonder if CW uses different couriers for different parts of the country and for worldwide delivery.

Yeah I am in London and think I get royal mail special delivery (which I prefer) but doubt even Royal Mail know who the driver is 😄

I can’t wait for my green c63 auto to arrive- I’m going to Donegal in Ireland to watch a Finn Harps game in mid November so ideally want it by then but imagine they sold well and I changed my order so happy to be patient

. . . ..
We haven't got to the end of October yet.

As to waiting until November we, forum members, can only speculate based on information on CW's website.

Your best bet? Phone CW and ask for an update on your order.

Quite possible, Richard. I’m sure they use different couriers for different countries, but I hadn’t considered the possibility that they would use different ones within the UK. My latest CW watch and the strap I ordered to go with it both came with the same driver via DPD, though on different days.

Likewise but not with the level of information you get. I guess it also depends on the depot.

I get mine by DPD. Also whenever I get anything delivered by them, CW or not, I always get an email from DPD the day of delivery telling them when Wayne will be with me along with a one hour delivery slot. When it gets close I can click on the DPD app and find out what number delivery I am and how far away he is, I can even track him on the map within the App.

While this isn’t anything to do with DPD, so is possibly unique to me, if Wayne gets held up in traffic on the motorway on route from the Leeds depot, he’ll often post on local Facebook groups to let people know he’ll be late.

Seriously, I’ve read this back to check for spelling mistakes and it sounds like I’m making it up, I’m not.

^^^ Never heard of Wayne.

We have had Georgie as our DPD driver for the past few years.

Can’t fault her service. Very pleasant and always comes on time.

We are quite friendly with Nikola, our DPD chap. We went through a period of him delivering a LOT of parcels, so it's almost like a personal delivery service now!

He always smiles, asks how we are and, if it's for my wife, he just looks at me and says another one not for you

I got an email today saying it’s likely to be with me by next week- I think those ordering without bracelets may get theirs sooner.

I just received my C63 Sealander GMT, and I love it!

One question -- when I wind the watch in the first crown position, it has virtually no friction (i.e. the feeling that you are winding the mainspring). Is that what others are experiencing as well?
