This converts to about US$ 795 and hoped it would go through customs without any import charges. And it did so saved $25 from the US price and no $75 duty/DLH fee charge. So saved about $100 total.

But the GPB vs USD is increasing almost daily so soon this may not work anymore for watches with a value close to $800. Some credit card companies charge foreign transaction fees so these savings in ordering in GBP may be less as well.
What discount code did you use the get that price?! That equates to almost 30% off at £795 vs £562.5!

I assume the discount is the £100 off voucher taking the price down to £695 and then the removal of the 20% vat as it was being shipped out of the UK? Not sure if the US prices exclude vat as I’ve only checked the UK site.

Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: Tue May 18, 2021 5:57 pm ^^^ if you look at the maths on this for the moment, we will see that each minute division on the chapter ring represents 24 minutes on the GMT hand. A line bisecting the second and third minute markers would divide that into two twelve minute sections.

I’ll wager it’s not too far off, but you will get a clearer idea by lining it up with any even hour.
I looked at the gallery for this watch on the CW website and it looks spot on - the dial batons line up to the middle of the numbers on the bezel whether that's 1 or 2 numbers. So likely optical illusion on the photos here as I can't imagine Frank accepting anything less than perfect.

I used the 100LOUPE21 code. GBP 795 / 1.2 = GBP 662.50 (ex VAT)

Not sure how they calculate that sub total..

The first thing I check when receiving a new Ward is hand alignment, had a couple in the past that were out of alignment.

Sometimes they may be a bit out alignment depending on how you moved the hands forward or back, taking up any slack in the gears. Especially with a 24-hour hand so they can be just slightly of.

No complaints for this Sealander.

Yes, that's spot on. Is it ok at midnight too??

I'd like to think they can supply them with perfect alignment as I want a white one. My problem is the promotional video they produced to show the gmt function had a watch that wasn't aligned correctly!!!

I am probably just about to order C63 Elite, but can anybody confirm if the Titanium bracelet has the tool-less micro adjuster the same as other CW (steel) bracelets?

From the 'Features' on CW's website;-

"Grade 2 titanium bracelet with micro-adjustable ratchet clasp and quick-release system for easy changing"

My answer would therefore be; Yes.

Anyone in the know heard when the elites are going to roll out to us punters? Feels like I have been waiting ages (I know...it's only a few weeks!) but I'm excited and want the bloody thing :D
I know the ones on a strap are set to be end of May and as I have ordered both strap and ti I asked if it can be sent on the strap and then send the bracelet on when it arrives. My answer was a clear 'no' :(
Cheers now, Paul

Website says Pre-Order for end of May. So a week or more to go.

The new C63 Sealander Collection is certainly one of CW’s better design creations. I am wondering if this collection is intended for the female wrist🤔. I am also wondering if CW intends to inflate the case size to fit a man’s wrist!
