I like it, though I don't need or want one.
Same boat/camp/song sheet.
I’m a real man. At least I have the beard and various other endowments that indicate it. And I would gladly wear that if I could justify another watch at the moment.

After years of the slimmer-wristed complaining about the large sizes of CW cases (eg C9, C8, old C60 - all 43mm, maybe the C8 was even 44mm?), the tables have turned.....
Kudos. Yes, the C8 was 44 mm.

Looks really great. Love the new dial materials they are experimenting with. Next stop semi-precious stones? (Onyx Lapis Lazulli etc.etc.) or Meteorite?

I think back to the likes of Sean Connery's James Bond in Goldfinger and wearing a watch maybe 34mm....
I refer you back to my previous comment about the availability of big watches for real men. They weren’t readily available, so your comment doesn’t hold a lot of water:-
Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

I think I would prefer more slender indexes on the celest.
I believe the Moonphase was considered not manly enough either.
I hope the next CW is a true example of pure masculinity like this:
Everyone knows Sean Connery would have worn a truly testosterone-laced 55mm diameter watch if it was available at the time.
You can't go wrong with Invicta for quality like that can you.
Here's an example of what I meant. Slender indexes and hands, alongside the glorious sparkly dial, probably no lume, but rather different from a standard sealander, and a bit dressier.
When I opened the email and saw it, I thought it was very nice and I was very interested at the price point but then saw it was 36mm . Just too small.
I guess watch companies are having a turn at shrinkflation now too.
Love the moonphase but one thing bugs me a bit, is they went for a very minimalist look (which I think is the right move) but still put 'swiss made' on it. I'd rather have a small Christopher Wards emblem.
It's as though they're more proud of it being swiss made than it being their watch.

I’d love to see a description of this hypothetical “real man”. It might help to dispel a few ridiculous images I have running through my head.
In response to your wanting to see a description of the hypothetical real man, I was ready to post a couple of pictures that at my senior age I thought would make people laugh. Luckily I paused for a second and realized it's so easy to get banned from places nowadays
