Exchange some money with some one. I tried exchanging cats for watches once. But the exchange rate is poor.

i would like to know how to ask CW what the industry standard on PVD gold plate thickness is because i was told it is 10-15 microns but CW said their watch has 2 microns which they said was twice the industry standard, just curious.

Prior to the the move to Switzerland in August of 2008, all CWL plated watches were 10 microns which was twice the thickness generally being used. As a result of the move, plating was changed to the PVD process. I do not know the thickness of the PVD, but it is a much harder finish than the plating.
