Older Steinharts, Robert and Debaufre all had cases that came from the same manufacture as Grovana.

more original looking than either the ocean 1 or the CW... and it has a much more curved case/lugs than the ocean 1, so fits nicely onto a smaller wrist. Now that its available on bracelet as well, its a much better proposition IMHO.

I think its a superb looking watch:

I agree, this is a great looking watch, but it is 140 Euros more than then Ocean 1. I have just got back from my hols and the Ocean 1 Black was waiting for me. First impressions are:

Very well packaged with everything protected by plastic film.
A heavy watch that seems very well made.
I had to remove 2 links, which was easy as they are a screw type, so no need take it to a jewellers.
Lost a few seconds in about 6 hours, but I need to give it a chance and let the automatic movement bed in.
Although heavy, the strap seems comfortable.

Pics to follow.

I've own both and while they are both great in craftsmanship and quality, I feel the Steinhart is too much of a homage watch while the Trident is unique and unlike other watches out there.

A relative looked at my wrist today and asked if I had bought a new watch. He then went on to tell me how he has just sold his Rolex Submariner due to necessity and is itching to get another one.

I didn't tell him it wasn't a Rolex but then, to be fair, I didn't say it was; he just assumed. Not bad for £300.

I just recieved my C60 GMT. Awesome! I think the Steinhart name on a watch that looks so close to a rolex is a bit weird!its my fourth CW now and its just as exiting as the first due to the quality and design. I see something new every time i pay attention to it and i think that is just down to the depth of work that went into the looks. Easily worh an extra £120 in my humble opinion. Good luck with your C8 though pal.
C15 Henley Automatic.
C40 Speedhawk.
C60 GMT.
C900.

I think the C60 looks much better than the steinhart. I bet the steinhart is a good quality watch but out of the 2 i would choose the C60.
