Caseback is Sapphire crystal, unless you mean the material that makes it orange underneath the Sapphire, which is probably accurate.golfjunky wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 9:08 pmThe casebackBahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 8:57 pmExcept it is NOT a Sapphire crystal dialgolfjunky wrote:

Re: C60 sunrise
It's not offensive, I just like big dials and the bezel competes for space. This one is only 40mm and I like the dinner plate-like 42mm C65 classic with no bezel - imagine this dial but that big

Re: C60 sunrise
I accidentally ordered two of them today when putting the order through, CW have confirmed as such too. Keep an eye out tomorrow on their sale page for one appearing, as this will be the one I cancelled

Re: C60 sunrise
I hope the 40 was a fluke and they are planning to release more like they just did with the Shadow SE. I heard there was 28 of those when it was on sale page, now it’s being sold outside the sale page as a standardi special edition offering.
I love that burnt orange color with the black date window. I liked the prototype version that has been floating around for the past year or two, but this “atoll-like” version I think is better.

Not quite normal, then, as that fume/degrade treatment is relatively unusual, isn't it?Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 8:57 pmExcept it is NOT a Sapphire crystal dial with 'coloured plastic' as you state.
It is a normal dial, similar to that used on last summer's C60 Atoll, but in a different colour.

Well; alright then; not normal.
I was referring to the physical construction being normal as opposed to Sapphire etc.

Re: C60 sunrise
Comparing pictures of the C60 Atoll with the Sunrise, I'm not too sure that the Sunrise has the same fume effect that the Atoll had, it seems like it has gradation that gets a deeper orange as it reaches the edges with perhaps it ever so slightly getting dark right at the end but doesn't seem as darkened as the Atoll. I hope I'm wrong though, would look great.

Re: C60 sunrise
Not sure how the 28 pc. rumor got started unless someone, or many, have confused this line from the SH21 description...an automatic power-reserve complication to Calibre SH21 was achieved with a 28-piece modification to the base movement,
I am working on getting a production quantity.

Re: C60 sunrise
He he, I can see how that could be confused with quantity produced

However, CW themselves haven't specified it was "limited" just "special", but then it appears in the list of limited edition watches... go figure

Thanks Kip... be good to know if this will be super limited or hang around for a while
