The lume is a big improvement over what has gone before.

Wearing it on the wrist outside in sun, you will notice the glowing when you first return inside io a darkened room.

If you 'charge' it up with a bright light, then it glows with an intensity I'd never noticed on the MkI. Each hour marker reflects a tiny bit on the rehaut, so you get a pleasant effect.

More importantly, it was still visible an hour or so later in the bedroom, but I must admit I fell asleep after that so no idea what time it faded!

As I say, it's no Seiko Monster in the lume department, what is, but it does behave more like other watches I've owned and doesn't cause me concern. It is a big improvement, as I say.

Hi Tooks, how would you rate the anti-reflective treatment on the lens?

Thanks!

Judging by the amount of attention that Tooks' C60 is receiving, and quite rightly so, I reckon that this could be a real seller for CW.

Aifo, it's getting almost embarrassing in my responses, but I have no complaints with regard to the AR either!

Straight on, the crystal 'disappears' and all you can see is the dial/hands, and on angling the watch to a window or similar you can see well controlled reflections.

There doesn't appear to be much of a colour tint to the AR coating, but I can see the merest hint of blue at some angles.

I expect you're correct Scooter, but then the previous version sold well didn't it?

CW deserve every success with this one.

Thanks for the response! I am very happy to know that, not just for my personal information but also CWL going forward as a whole. I understand cost concerns impose limitations but some aspects are simply too important to forego. To me, watch crystal makes a great deal of importance and AR coating is as essential as the crystal material. One of the let downs of my Glycine combat is exactly the rather poor AR treatment, a shame really for an otherwise, imo, a great dressy diver.

Just wanted to congratulate Took on a great purchase, and many thanks for answering many questions to give others a sense of the watch. I'm definitely looking into a 38mm maroon GMT in the near future!

Hi JAG, I answered that one up a bit. But it is a huge improvement on what has gone before. :)

Edit: an iPad pic I took earlier today after it had been on the windowsill for a few minutes, and just taken to a shady corner of the room, although not dark.

I'm getting more and more intrigued by these watches all the time. Improved lume, repositioned date window, ceramic bezel. Lots to really love here. Anyone else get theirs yet?
