I don't know why my invite arrived in NJ so much quicker. How far upstate in NY are you
I’m only 15 miles from Ithaca, but even though I’m in the same county as Ithaca, my mail gets routed through Rochester, NY. Rural living.
Elsewhere I’ve detailed the route DHL takes to get a CW purchase to me. Not quite a world tour but the logistics don’t make any sense to me. Usually, at least, they eventually arrive.

There’s a book about your postal service. It took the hero 10 years to get to Ithaca. Mind you, there was a cyclops involved.

In modern times we would say that the cyclops is either US Customs, DHL or the USPS. Each one can be remarkably limited in what it can perceive, or indeed deliver. I wonder if a golden fleece on the post office vans would make them faster...

Close CWers! I'm in Greece (The city in NY not the country). Go to Ithaca every month or so my a MD appointment for my son. I grew up in Fulton and used to travel to Ithaca a lot for hockey.

I have the impression there were some classical scholars around in upstate New York when place names were being handed out!

I am only intrigued to see how much it is and whether the pricing is going to go to a new level.
In a watch which I assume is higher end of the range I was hoping not to see more orange. Would rather a simpler monochrome approach.
I'll of course await the full details of the release before making a final judgement when the 'common' people get to find out.
Or what I would like to think of as 'the people who are less likely to pay more that £1,500 for a CW ever' whether that be because it is not within the price range or because of a lack of trust in CW at the moment to take a risk on them.
From the thoughts so far, I hope that it will be impressive, even if it is not to my taste which will be good for the brand and hopefully re-sale values across the board.

Very true! And the place names pre-date the area universities. We boast both a Rome and a Romulus in addition to Ithaca, Greece, Syracuse, Ovid, Cicero, Scipio, among others. Our local Seneca names come from the tribe, however, and not the philosopher.
