Interestingly I paid for a Tribus on klarna. They take a 10% deposit, but then 12 monthly payments, starting a month after delivery.nbg wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 12:38 pmPete I get it that’s the case with PayPal, but for a normal credit card transaction, my recollection is the charge only goes through when an item is shipped?tikkathree wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 10:53 am
I pre-ordered mine for delivery after Christmas and can confirm that payment is not delayed to take account of scheduled delivery so by the time mine arrives I'll have made several paypal monthly payments.
Maybe (just kidding) I'll take a leaf out of the Rolex Flipper Handbook and flip for oh about seven grand?

I wasn't being very clear.
I know the answer has since been confirmed but perhaps my post would have made more sense had I said that full payment went from PayPal to CW at the time of placing the order and my stage repayments also started at that point.
I'm glad in a way because by the time mine arrives it will be part paid for; similarly if I send it back because I don't like it I shall get a chunk of money back from PayPal credit.

The epic adventures of my C60 Concept in US customs have finally ended. Hopefully it will be with me tomorrow (or maybe Friday)

Excellent, Mark.
You now need to get those main springs wound up. Not difficult, as I'm sure you will be wearing it for a few days to come.

Getting the bracelet sized will be today's priority. Showing it to the Omega Boutique will be tomorrow's....Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 12:08 pm Excellent, Mark.

Figuring out if the wife will notice a new watch is already completed. She didn't. She never does. I just have to hide the box or make sure she's not home when a watch is delivered and I'm good. If I can keep it off instagram 'til she goes to work then my life is easy.

Re: C60 Concept
At least one of their staff owns a CW...
And the original "it's a $10k watch" referring to the C7 Apex came from them too.
But yes, point acknowledged that they should be nice to a customer. Although they did give me friendly grief over putting tape on a clasp to stop it getting scratched. But hey, an Omega titanium clasp costs a fortune.

Re: C60 Concept
Interesting, as my thoughts didn’t go in that direction. As I read albionphoto’s comment, I naturally assumed a relationship with the AD that would elicit an authentic reaction/discussion. Your reply makes equally as much sense.golfjunky wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 12:24 pmWell they will not be rude or derogatory will they! so its either real or fake praise.jkbarnes wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 12:17 pmPlease share with us their reaction to it!albionphoto wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 12:15 pm Showing it to the Omega Boutique will be tomorrow's....
Still, I want to hear what they have to say.

Re: C60 Concept
What I hadn't realised is how much smaller the C60 Concept looks compared to the C60 Apex. It makes the Apex look "old" in terms of design too (at least from the front.
