I like the look of this so much more! Still not enough to consider purchasing one, mind you, but it is nice! If one looks at the C60 Concept as a showcase watch to grab attention and highlight what CW is capable of, I do think the blue/orange colorway is more effective at doing that. Black/red might be a bit to sedate a color scheme to match the boldness of the overall design.
Skeleton watches don't appeal to me and the blue Concept is no different - it didn't attract any interest.
Wow, that really does transform the Concept. Thanks for the alternate color scheme view. It leaps out in a very different way from the release. If there is any way Christopher Ward would consider offering up this variant, I think it would be such a winner. If only there were more funds available… sigh.
Just nine left now!
It’s already a work of art, you’d just prefer it with a different frame!
HI there, welcome to the forumTwin4Me wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 11:02 am Hello - new member here, I've been lurking and looking at CW watches for a few years now but this watch has really caught my eye.
I'm still not 100% convinced as I'm concerned it might be very 'thick' on the wrist compared to my current Bell & Ross vintage (41mm).
Can anyone put my mind at rest about how it wears?
My alternative would probably be the C60 Elite 1000 (but it feels like 15.4mm vs 15.85mm isn't a big difference)
I guess it's returnable if I find I don't like it, or maybe I could sell it on to someone who missed out (if I don't miss out with my indecision!)
That is really cool. I have to say I wasn't thrilled with the overall look of this watch when they released it. But in these real world pics it looks terrific. Great on-the-wrist look to this watch and easier to read than I thought it might be. Congrats!Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 12:48 am A neat feature of the Concept, it being fully skeletonised, is that you can see the extent by which the main springs in the two barrels are wound.
Compare these photos from

this morning
and this evening
and look at how tight the springs are.
Who needs a Power Reserve indicator? Gorgeous.

Oh no, that's not goodTwin4Me wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 5:43 pm Well having dithered and then finally decided to go ahead I had the watch in my shopping bag and was about to pay when the plumber turned up. This turned into a 3 hour repair of our heating and the laptop went to sleep. When I got back the bag had emptied and it's now sold out!!!
(I knew this would happen once I made my mind up, my wife had even said to go ahead if I wanted to, as long as she didn't have to pay.)
