Never say never about CW and serial numbers. They don't make these in SN order and so you might be in batch 2. Batch 1 are already being dispatched but Batch 2 are for mid-December. Third and final batch is mid Jan - Feb 2022,tikkathree wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 12:44 pm I've selected a rather high case number so I expect to receive mine in 2022.![]()

For what it’s worth, the white lume on the hands make them stand out quite well (even non-charged). More so than the second hand I’d say.Danbailey007 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 9:19 am I showed my wife the pictures in the new Loupe magazine and we both thought ok that's cool but looks hard to read but the real life pictures make it look much better!

Re: C60 Concept
There’s not much else I can add to this discussion of the Concept but to chime in and say that Christopher Ward really excelled with this watch. This is clearly a major step up for the brand. I’ve only seen pictures and am not likely to see one in person. But, wow, the thought, design, and finishing effort really deliver. This is an exciting time and the buzz the Concept generates is well deserved. What a win for whoever gets one.

Regarding legibility, I’m sure it will be fine if you can pick out the hands from the background. The orange triangle gives a very strong reference point and if you have been telling the time all your life your brain does the geometry very quickly.

Re: C60 Concept
And, let's face it the C60 Apex wasn't very legible when the hands were over the power reserve. I think I'll be able to live with it.

Re: C60 Concept
Have just been looking at the lume photos of the Concept that have made their way to the reference galley, outstanding. If I owned that watch I would spend so much time inspecting the workings and finishing of it that the actual time displayed would seem somehow immaterial.

Re: C60 Concept
^^^ I agree Des. Im not sure how long it'd actually be on my wrist, in comparison to how long it'd be in my hands, turning it round and looking at it!
Id consider living in the dark, just so I could see the lume more often

I’ve spent quite a bit more time than usual in the garage today purely because of this!strapline wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 1:48 pm Have just been looking at the lume photos of the Concept that have made their way to the reference galley, outstanding. Re: C60 Concept
As a techie, I have a strong appreciation for skeleton watches. I was hoping that CW produce one in the C1 case but the C60 is really nice. The only slight improvement, in my opinion, would be applied indices on the ring that slightly protrude pass its inner diameter. Its lume pictures remind me of the Power Glow. Inspiration perhaps?
The chamfered edges on the movement components are beyond impressive. They don't even look like they were made by hand. The operators must have ultra steady hands.
Overall, it's an exceptionally nice watch and I hope it's a huge success for CW.
