I’m with some others here; I like it, just not for me. Might feel a little thick at pretty much 16mm. Maybe if it’s in a nearly new sale at 80% off

Definitely a beauty though!

Oddly the video makes me like it less than I thought I would (doesnt change anything as I wouldn't have bought it anyway). Can't quite put my finger on it though.

Looking forward to seeing some wrist shots when they arrive, I imagine there will be a good few very chuffed people wanting to show them off.

I could be tempted to chop in my elite and swap for the colchester given the local connection
And I'm guessing that, being just down the road, you will know Colchester Garrison as much for the Military Correction Unit as much as for the Air Assault Brigade?

Sorry to correct you Steve but the £100 voucher does apply for the Concept; at least it did when I ordered mine last week (when the 100LOUPE22 was still valid).

I don't think we're going to get a Military Corrections Unit watch any time soon though

CW should be applauded for building this watch, I think it looks great plus the price is right….nearly 16mm thick though!

It’s a very impressive engineering and watch making achievement. I’m sure it will be a success and garner industry praise which is probably its primary objective.

Nevertheless, it’s not for me; I can’t read skeleton dials, it’s too thick and I certainly wouldn’t contemplate spending this sort of money.

It’s impressive but I guess the downside to CWs direct to consumer model is the lack of grey market heavily discounted models!

For a similar price I can get a new Zenith defy skeleton on Chrono24 or a Pelagos. But as I said previously just because it’s not for me and many others on here I’m glad to see them do it and those that have bought it have got a cracking watch

Interesting reading the comments about the thickness putting people off. It’s the same diameter, lug-to-lug and total weight as the Elite 1000, the only difference being the Elite is 15.4mm in height, the Concept 15.85mm.

As the Elite on the bracelet is the most comfortable watch I’ve ever worn, I’m hoping the extra under half a mm of height won’t affect the way the watch wears - I’ve high expectations it won’t!

Lu.. wrote:The C60 concept looks nice since I like skeleton watches as I'm an engineer.....would've preferred hour markers on the insert vs minutes, but 15.85mm height...for a three handed movement (with no complications)......sorry too thick for something that is going to set me back $4,300......

to put it in perspective.....this watch is thicker than Tudor's GMT.....and the C60 costs more.....
Exactly....I think they are a little aggressive and over reaching on the price of this watch. I think it's really nice, but I wouldn't pay GS, Tudor, or Omega pricing on this...I would just get one of those 3.

2k to 2.5k....mehbe?

I've sent a message via the website to see if I can have a zoom or phone call to talk about the watch as I am very interested. Im hoping this can be arranged as I live a little too far away for a personal meeting. I would also like a specific serial no as well if this could be arranged and not taken.

You only live once and I dont think you can't put a price on something that makes you happy although I'm still wearing the C60 mk2 bronze diver I bought off Richtel on these forums. Its an exceptional watch which makes me happy in a different way to my other 18 CW watches which I also love in different ways 😁 .

Im drunk again by the way. No doubt I'll press the buy button before I go to bed and will totally forget I did it until I get a letter from the bank saying I'm overdrawn past my agreed overdraft 🤣

I was just looking at WUS, and within a few articles there were postings showing the CW Concept and the Zenith Defy. I must say I thought the CW seemed far more coherent and attractive.

I do share the thoughts about the height of the watch. 16mm is a big watch. It's hard just seeing pictures isn't it?

Jafo, I assume this can be purchased and returned like any other watch. If I do go mental and order it I will try it and see how I feel about 16mm height as I don't think any of watches I own are that high
