Hand finishing of movement parts was about 6 hours per watch.biggus_richus wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 12:35 pmI thought this too. The article claims it has small seconds and makes the rather ambiguous claim that the “detail of each movement took six hours”!

Thanks for the links and Oracle Time YouTube video, the filming in which is almost as good as the watch.

Re: C60 Concept
Now I've seen more details, it looks impressive but not for me. CW got their target invites right!
The use of blue and orange may be a signature of CW now but I would have liked to have seen some (boring I know) black and greys with just a single understated colour accent. I'm thinking Zenith defy or the Oris skeleton.
For me that would make it appear more timeless and for the eye to be drawn to the star of the show on the dial rather than the biggest watch triangle in the world or the futuristic type lume.
They have thrown a lot at it so I can understand why clear indicies are not included but surely they are important? Assuming the inner triangle is fixed, the bezel won't help if it is not lined up but maybe practicality is not the objective on this.
Perhaps what I am thinking is more mass appeal though and no doubt they will have 210 willing and lucky customers which is who it is designed for, not me.
Hope those that purchase enjoy it and share their thoughts and pictures

Re: C60 Concept
I am surprised how readable is it, with all the distractions on the dial. I find skeleton watches very hard to read at times.
I hope they do well with it.
I wonder how many additional demo pieces they make for such a relatively small limited edition?

Re: C60 Concept
Overall it's nice but the constant blue/orange or PVD is played out to me with the SH21. The concept black/orange was better than the metal Concept for me. No hour markers is weird too. Congrats to all that order and may customs if needed treat you well.

Re: C60 Concept
3 and a half grand for a CW - no thanks. I do like the C63 Colchester though - carbon case, COSC, push in crown, under a grand - very tempting

Re: C60 Concept
It has inspired me to re look at skeleton watches, Im quite drawn to some of the Jean Marcel models but appreciate they are not in house movement, as technically well finished as the C60 which I think looks superb.
