Fair play to Christopher Ward, they always stated mid-November delivery at the time it was released.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

If you go on the enthusiasts page on Facebook there is a couple of photos on there. Some in the packaging and on the wrist all with the webbing strap. Have to say it looks great.

Re: C60 Bronze?
CW offices in Maidenhead are a decent train journey away from London Paddington (30-40mins each way on the fast trains) so it would have been dependant on how long you were in London.
Looks like the plastic film over the watch is the "packaging" that isn't quite what I thought it was going to be like. I presume that CW consider it only needs something that prevents finger contact with the bronze watch case.

Re: C60 Bronze?
Having previously been quite critical of bronze watches, i will say the lugs are a lovely colour, not convinced about the darker bezel colour though.

Re: C60 Bronze?
That seems to be because the lugs are brushed and the bezel is bead blasted giving the impression of different shades. I think this will tone down beautifully and be a real stunning watch in a few weeks or months. Sad in some ways I'm not getting one but I doubt I'd keep it and the only concern would be how easy they are to sell on used.DISJT wrote:Having previously been quite critical of bronze watches, i will say the lugs are a lovely colour, not convinced about the darker bezel colour though.

Re: C60 Bronze?
What’s occurred to me is what happens to the hands? It looks like they are bronze too. When the case gains a patina of age, will the hands remain shiny and new? That might look odd.
I still think I want one. Maybe. Perhaps. Oh, I don’t know.

Re: C60 Bronze?
I'm not sure I'd be so concerned with re sale value.
I've never owned anything bronze but have read numerous times that the patina is very easy to clean off and the bronze will look like new again.
So whilst the patina seems to be desirable, if a second owner doesn't like the thought of someone else's sweaty hue, they can start the process again after a quick buff and polish.

Re: C60 Bronze?
Visited the showroom last week - only to try the bronze, once on I had to order one! Arrived yesterday. Even with a rubber strap (which suits it perfectly) the watch is a lovely heavy weight, as I like them to be (I've tried some Breitling and Tudor models, which I like, but are so light I couldn't tell they were on my wrist!). As for colour change, well lets see.
Issues/comments?
Wound 12 hours ago and may have lost 90 seconds - may be me but thought I'd set it correctly last evening. Supposed to be c. 20 seconds/day. Have reset and will see tomorrow. Manual, wind is odd - doesn't seem to have a stop so keeps on going. I'm not heavy handed so may have an issue.
Being the first batch I was promised a choice of serial numbers but it appears no one read the order notes as this didn't happen. Was told they arrive covered so how come someone managed to hand write the number on the warranty card along with a letter with my name on?! Both inside the box.
Packaging - amazing quality and attention to detail and must cost a packet. Well above what one would expect from a brand at this level.
Generally though, still impressed.
Can't see how to post images from a local device here so see: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/top ... 949&i=1880

Re: C60 Bronze?
The hand winding isn't an issue. All my 4 tridents can be wound till the cows come home. It has some kind of clutch mechanism to prevent over winding. If it didn't then the automatic winding would also over wind the watch whilst you wear it.

Re: C60 Bronze?
Looks good. Mine should arrive Monday or Tuesday. The blasted bezel makes it a bit different to other bronze watches.
In my opinion a good choice for what it cost!
