C60 Auto with Nato strap (and C700 silicone strap)
C60 Auto with Nato strap (and C700 silicone strap)
My new watch arrived this morning. Absolutely delighted with the C60 and I think the Nato strap looks really good on it (I know there have been mixed thoughts on this). I have never had a Nato strap before so can't really compare the quality of it, however my only gripe is it is a bit thin.
The C700 silicone strap fits the watch really well and I think it looks good.
I will try and post some photos tomorrow when I get a chance to take them in daylight (my phone camera wasn't too good tonight).
Cheers,
Gogs.

All NATO straps appear to be thin.

Probably depends on how thick your watch is.julywest wrote:Agree all I have owned of nylon straps are thin.... reason I do not wear themianblyth wrote:All NATO straps appear to be thin.

Don't think so.. but I can say none of my watches are <10mm. I have rubber straps kevlar etc that are reasonably thick but the nylons are thin. If you like them, that's great.Russ-Shettle wrote:Probably depends on how thick your watch is.julywest wrote:Agree all I have owned of nylon straps are thin.... reason I do not wear themianblyth wrote:All NATO straps appear to be thin.

Ok, got round to taking a few pictures, but be warned they aren't as good as others on this forum!! Also, the watch made it through its first underwater outing today!!
Still delighted with it and I do like both straps.

And one with my first born!!!

I discoverd that all you have to do is a copy and paste. How? Go to your post with all the pics, click on edit, highlight the entire message, copy and paste it in the Gallery with a new topic.Kip wrote:How about posting those photos in the Refernce Gallery please.

Re: C60 Auto with Nato strap (and C700 silicone strap)
The rubber strap doesn't look bad but to me, the C60 begs, as Kip would put it, for a steel bracelet.
Re: C60 Auto with Nato strap (and C700 silicone strap)
I haven't worn a watch with a bracelet for about 10 years, however I understand that people think the C60 needs one - all about your own preference in the end. It would be a boring world if we all thought the same
!
Kip - I have now posted the pics in the reference thread.

Re: C60 Auto with Nato strap (and C700 silicone strap)
Actually, Kip had referred that about my C700 as begging for a steel bracelet. A divers style watch looks super with that rubber strap because, IMHO, it's a divers watch, meant for water and you wouldn't go diving with a leather strap, for instance. I guess what I'm saying; it would appear to be inappropriate or mismatched with the watch. When it came to most watches, accept for my C5, I always preferred bracelets.Gogs wrote:I haven't worn a watch with a bracelet for about 10 years, however I understand that people think the C60 needs one - all about your own preference in the end. That c700 silicon looks absolutely fantastic on the C60, great combi and ideal for a divers watch
As for the NATO, aka deckchair chic, sorry, but absolutely not my thing at all....
