C60 Anthropocene GMT
Re: C60 Anthropocene GMT
Really missed a trick though with not making the hands and hour batons edged in black

Re: C60 Anthropocene GMT
These teases are tantalizing. Looks to be a good extension of the line. August 26 isn’t too far off. But I’ve not even recovered from the excitement of the recent sales.

Re: C60 Anthropocene GMT
I'm not convinced of the new CW design ethos of "sapphire all of the things". I'm sure it will be nice, but I doubt very much that it will outshine the C65 Anthropocene.

Re: C60 Anthropocene GMT
It's in the new releases section, but that one is not showing a blued crown in the images.

Re: C60 Anthropocene GMT
The blued crown one is a different watch. Non GMT tide branded watch based on the advert last week. There were 2 ads for 2 different watches.

Re: C60 Anthropocene GMT
I am curious if they will have a promo code with the new Loupe magazine like they did with the Sealander release.
Re: C60 Anthropocene GMT
There is a quite a lot to like about this in my opinion: Updated SW330-2 GMT movement with longer power reserve etc, dial symmetry with logo at 12/date at 6 and a bi-directional rotating GMT bezel at last.
I just think the sapphire dial is all wrong. It's barely translucent with just the date wheel vaguely showing through and has over prominent fixing screws; both of which are distracting from the overall design which could have been far better with a plain white dial.
There's also no mention of how the hands are finished so I'd guess there're the existing brushed/polished finish. Gunmetal or black edged could have given it a really distinctive look.
It does however give some clues as to how the CW design language is evolving.

Re: C60 Anthropocene GMT
I agree, there is no need for the sapphire dial. With regards to design language, I am curious if they will no longer put the logo at 9. It seems the last few releases all have been at 12. I like the Sealander GMT but wish they did that in a 41 or 42. I am on the fence about this one.timor54 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 6:24 pm There is a quite a lot to like about this in my opinion: Updated SW330-2 GMT movement with longer power reserve etc, dial symmetry with logo at 12/date at 6 and a bi-directional rotating GMT bezel at last.

Based on past performance, both Loupe and the Promo Code will be out any day now.

Re: C60 Anthropocene GMT
I'd be concerned if I didn't receive the periodic invitation.
The C60 Anthro' though: I remain loyal to my C65 Anthro' so question whether I'd bag one of these as well. When I phrase it that way the only possible response is "why wouldn't I?" So I'll continue studying the information. I like the orange tie-in between the GMT hand and the 12 triangle on the bezel. I find myself wondering how good a white bezel or a black and white half-and-half might look.

The dial looks like you would be skating on ice.
Its kinda bling, but then its not, more sophisticated perhaps.
Got me wondering; this or the #tide.
