C60 and C63 dial sizes.

Post by MarkingTime »

A long shot this one, but does anyone happen to know the dial sizes of the 40mm C60 300's and the 36mm and 39mm C63's?

I have measured across the rehaut of a C60 Sunrise and get approximately 30mm, the same measurement for a 36mm C63 is 29.5mm, but ideally I need to know the exact dial width.

I’m measuring about 30mm on my C63. Take that with a grain of salt, as my caliper is pretty cheap and a challenge to actually read the measurement.

Dial Sizes (measured to the inside of the rehaut - my measurements, not anything official):

C60 Trident Pro 300 40mm: 29.3mm
C63 (GMT) 39mm: 31.8mm
C63 36mm: 28.6mm

Interesting that you want to know the exact dial width. The dial itself will probably extend under the rehaut and won’t be visible to measure without taking the watch apart. I assume you are asking this and not the size of the visible part of the dial? It may only extend by a fraction of a millimetre but on my home made watches based on Seiko SKX they extend underneath by a few millimetres.

I opened with the word interesting as I think it might help us answer if we know why you need to know? If it is indeed the full dial diameter you want then simply measuring the visible section would be a waste of time.

Looks like my response didn’t post…

It’s a feasibility thing and I might try to make the watch that CW currently don’t…

The only way to know for sure, is for me to buy the two watches needed.
