C60-42 Trident COSC 600 Accuracy

Post by Gadget »

It is nearly two weeks since I received my C60-42 Trident COSC 600 so this morning I decided to check to see how it was getting on in the form of accuracy.
Using the internet I found that it had gained 33 seconds. Not bad for 13 days.

I think I can live with that! :)

That is indeed pretty good, if to be expected!

Mind you, somebody will post soon stating their [insert non COSC certified watch of choice here] has only gained half a second in 3 months or something.

On further questioning, they will admit that it gains 20 secs a day on the wrist, but they've found a position to leave it in overnight which involves moon rocks and witchcraft where it loses all those seconds gained. It's not quite overnight though, so they are often late for work as thy wait a couple more hours to lose the requisite bit of time....

Probably anyway.

Excellent, as I would expect it to be. Has this been an everyday wear?

Btw...I have a COSC thermo compensated quartz watch that is only ......

I have non COSC (not CWL), it hasn't gained any time in 3 months.

Maybe I should 'wind it up' ?

I have worn it everyday apart from one where I wore my other CW watch.

For comparison purposes, over the last 5 days of wearing my new C60 600 it has gained on average 7.7 seconds per day according to my Twixt app. Happy with that.

Reminds me of the old joke/saying. A broken watch is accurate twice a day.

I had mine running at +1.5secs in a week.
When at rest the watch was kept dial up in the box.
When on the wrist...well, on the wrist
