Re: C60 38mm Case - just right says daddy bear or???
I'm in the minority here, but I have the last edition 43mm C60 and it feels very heavy with the bracelet on (which is unfortunate, as the bracelet looks awesome and has a sturdy construction). With a leather strap, however, it feels great. It does seem a bit bulky with the crown protruding prominently on a relatively large case. A friend even went as far as to say it looked cumbersome.
I have a small (6.5") wrist. I may buy the new edition C61 one day, but it seems odd to get a diver in such a small size... Even vintage Submariners ran at 40mm.

I think I'm right in saying that the C61 came from what I believe was the W61, the ladies variant of the C60 so I guess to cut the order confusion at CW (heaven forbid) the W series was dropped and adopted the small and large mens options.FourthWard wrote:I have a small (6.5") wrist. But I will be corrected.

I'm still working on this. I'm sorry about the light but it can't just be a size allergy...
I need daylight now to sort out the antique dark brown lizard strap and the very dark green one.
This could end up on mesh...

Re: C60 38mm Case - just right says daddy bear or???
The C61/W61 are the exact same watch. The only difference was the straps. At the time of introduction CWL was still selling ladies watches and was not offering different size straps. This morphed into the current designations of 38/43mm when the ladies collections were discontinued and the later addition of short and large straps.reggie747 wrote: I think I'm right in saying that the C61 came from what I believe was the W61, the ladies variant of the C60 so I guess to cut the order confusion at CW (heaven forbid) the W series was dropped and adopted the small and large mens options.

Pete I'd recommend the CW bracelet for it, think it would work best on this.
The other idea of getting a C60 COSC instead is a good idea, personally 38mm Tridents don't work for me.
It will be a different look to your Orange so it would work.

In conclusion this undoubtedly lovely watch is en route whence it came: someone else will have the pleasure.

My 38 mm C60 Vintage is on its way back too. Right diameter for my wrist, but too deep. Revised 38 mm C65 will be my next try for a CW.

Hi guys! I also have the red bezel/white face and black strap but I really want to lose the strap for something else. Obvious options are the c60 bracelet or a staib mesh. I wouldnt mind nato but I'm not sure if which colours will go well with red/white. Would appreciate any feedback

Hello all,my 38mm C60 GMT does "wear"big on my 7" wrist,I can imagine the 42mm being a little heavy for me.
Re: C60 38mm Case - just right says daddy bear or???
I personally find my 38mm to be a bit small for my wrist. i am currently looking for a 42mm. (im a bigger guy too tho)
Re: C60 38mm Case - just right says daddy bear or???
I have the 38MM blue/blue and it is my favorite watch, I have a slightly smaller wrist though.
I wear it mostly on shark mesh that I got from strapcode and a bright blue Perlon strap from crown and buckle. I think it fits pretty well.
Sorry for quality of pics. One was from instagram and the others I tried to capture how the strap looked.
hope this helps a bit, thanks.

I have the 43mm on a rubber strap and it's not heavy at all. Would the bracelet make a significant weight difference?

Yes it does make a big difference - I think the weight may be split approx 50/50 between watchhead and bracelet.
I swapped my bracelet out for a NATO so if I remember I'll weigh the bracelet and post up tomorrow

Came across this thread - so thought I'd piggyback rather than starting a new one. I'm about to commit to a c60 300 Orange Bezel for an everyday watch. Just can't decide between the rubber strap and the bracelet.
Anyone got either/both combinations? What are your thoughts?
Thanks.

Buy on the bracelet, but buy an inexpensive 3rd party rubber strap and swap whenever you feel like it. If you buy the other way, the bracelet is an expensive purchase afterwards...sibex wrote:Came across this thread - so thought I'd piggyback rather than starting a new one.
