C6 T3 Limited Edition arrived today

Post by steveh »

I have been checking the Order Tracking on the CW website every day since I ordered the C6 and this morning it said it had been dispatched so I checked on DHL's website and it said that the package was 'Out for delivery'. At this point my heart sank as I was leaving the house in about 10 minutes and my wife was out for the rest of the day  .

Anyway, just as I was about to walk out of the front door the DHL van pulled up outside :D . I managed to grab a few minutes of admiring time with my new purchase before leaving home (and nearly missing my train). It is even better than I imagined, a really gorgeous watch. The T3 logo is actually a little subtler than the photos suggest and, anyway, I actually read the magazine (and have just subscribed for a penny for each of the next three issues) so it has a bit more relevance to me than it will to others.

For £85 it is an absolute bargain.

I have just got to find some time to get the strap resized - I really can't wait to wear it. I think my trusty C4 Corax is going to have accept spending some time off my wrist for the first time since getting it back in September.

Just got my first of 2 C6 T3s.
I ordered one and showed my brother a picture on the CW site and asked me to get one for him to.
Just going to see if i can get a track on it as i ordered them two days apart.
I really like it and for the price a real steal.Only thing is i think the ipk should have gone round the links a bit more, this is mentioned on another thread but on your wrist you can't see the bare metal.
One more oddity,I tried to order over the phone direct and was told the T3s where all sold out.
Not so according to web site so i ordered through that instead and everything ok???
Not sure what went on there but all ok in the end.
So much for me cutting back on watches this year
CW!!!! you got a lot to answer for

My account says Currently Being Packed and Ready to go for almost a week now.
I'll wait another few days, I think it will arrive soon.

Can you post some real life pics of the T3?

I can see what you mean by the IPK not going far enough around the links now. It also seems to be a slightly different finish to my C4. The C6 is less 'glossy', more of a satin finish than the C4. It's not bad, just different.

I was going to order a C6 as my next CW watch anyway and I may still order one with the blue face and rubber strap but I think my next CW watch will be the C8, depending on when it becomes available. I've just saved myself a few quid to go towards my next purchase - which is nice.

You're right Rick, CW has a lot to answer for  .

Order Tracking said 'Currently Being Packed and Ready to go' up until last night but changed to 'dispatched' this morning and was delivered at 12pm. I also ordered mine about a week ago so you should get yours in the next day or so.

I tried but the battery in my camera was flat so, as soon as it is charged up, I will take some photos.

My brother has told me that when he receives his watch it will become his every day watch.
Now that's interesting as he is a builder and he going to use it instead of his Omega seamaster chronograph.
Its been on his wrist since 2003.
Think he's a bit fed up replacing the pins on the bracelet that stretch and come lose, they have been replaced twice and the C6 cost far less then a service on the Omega.
Anyway, the point is,i,m pretty sure he will give the C6 a good work out and we can see how it copes on a builders wrist 24/7.
Sorry CW :D

Here are some not very good photos of my C6. These were taken very quickly this evening with my compact camera.

A rather unusual wrist shot. Just a comparison between my C6 and C4. Shame I didn't think to polish the C4 until after I'd taken the photo.

Mine is still being "picked and ready to go".

Interestingly I dont know if anyone else noticed but the issue numbers sneakily crept up yesterday from 250 to 300 but today it has been changed back down on the CWL website to 250. Strange ???

Maybe that excellent £85 offer was way over subscribed and Chris is sneakily duplicating serial numbers because he actually took orders for 500 in the last few days lol. That way the original purchasers who thought there were 250 will not get upset because there are now 750 hehe. After all if you have number 174 whats the odds of you meeting the person with the other 174(j/k).

Are you being sneaky Mr Ward?

Only kidding.
