You all end up discussing lonely carparks and inspecting each others' lume..... Think I'll stick around. Got my CW brochure today and can drool in private - Ha!

Yeah, I waited two weeks and a day for mine: it's probably because of the new year, but it turned up today and I have to say it's a real piece of art, I can't stop looking at the damn thing! Ridiculous value for money, and my only reservation was the T3 logo but it's nowhere near as 'in your face' as the pics would suggest. Adrian.

My C6 T3 also arrived today, great watch.

I was surprised to see it has the same case as the LE.
The case of the white C6 (also quartz) which I already had is different.
I thought the quartz and the automatics would have a different case, but that's not through.
It's not possible to switch straps between the different cases.

Are you absolutely sure about that?

Yes, there are two different cases.
When I wanted one silicon strap to use for both, Chris already told me it wouldn't fit.

So you're saying the case on the normal KF, a white C6 is different than the case on the T3 LE?

I have to admit that so far I just haven't told anyone it's a limited edition of the T3 magazine, which is not very well known in the Netherlands anyway. I just tell them it's the model number, which is why it's printed on the dial  .

Yes, that's right.

My white C6 has a different case then the LE and the T3.
I was surprised too, but it is true.
I thought (and Chris told me) the automatics have another case then the Quartz watches.
That's why I was surprised to see the T3 with the similar case as the LE.

I'm confused now... 8-[ I thought all C6's had the same case, but you're right. My LE has slightly thicker lugs than my yellow quartz C6. But both have the same rubber strap I believe...

Strange ,there all quoted as having 22mm straps on the CW site,I wonder if this is why its so hard to fit straps on the LE?

22 mm is the distance between the lugs, that's the same for all C6 models, the difference is in the thickness of the case and the lugs...

Yes,but John has said that CW told him the straps are not interchangeable between the two different cases and you said that the rubber strap is exactly the same on both watches but the rubber strap on my LE fits seamlessly with the case so if the other case is different how does it fit?
I've ordered a T3 because I was hoping to be able to swap the straps around with my LE now and again but now I'm totally :?

The holes in the lugs (for the pushpinns) are at my white c6 and the LE and T3 in a different position.
The last links of the bracelet are totally different too.

I'll make some pics this afternoon that will explain better.

The promised pics:

Image
The left case is the LE (the T3 is the same), the right case is the white C6 quartz.

Kingfisher C6 LE and T3

White Kingfisher C6 quartz

The end links of the bracelet:

The left end link is from the Kingfisher C6 LE and T3, the right is from the White Kingfisher C6 quartz.

I think this pics will expalin the differents between the cases.
A leather strap is switchable between the different cases but the bracelets are not.

So I've tried to keep up but will admit I'm fuzzy on this still. To recap for me - I have an LE and a T3 coming - will I be able to swap the bracelet on my T3 to the LE, and move the leather strap from the LE to the T3?

Thanks in advance,
Jim
