Day 4

(Today / total)

Nomos +1 / +4

CW +1 / +5

Shall I carry on until Monday, or quietly count my blessings? :D

Carry on until Monday, there may be a late break for the lead by the C5SLM!

Much as it would be good to see that, Colin and Chris, I do think Ian is right. I really don't think that these two watches have anything more to tell us. Vintages aside, the Nomos has always been a firm favourite with me, but I am incredibly pleased with the Slimline.
Thanks for watching – now, go back to your homes. :D

That's a great result so far. This picture of the slimline is the first time I realized that it has no date. I like it a lot. Not so much the design which is okay, but that color is really nice. Way to go, Slimline!

Well, I wasn't going to carry on but this is interesting...
After 5 days
CW +6
Nomos +7

Someone did a helluva job regulating that SL! And here's the funny bit - I was half way to sending it back! I had reserved #4 so I was a bit surprised when #20 arrived. Wera did offer to swap them immediately, but I'm not that bothered about serial numbers (yes, I know some of you are!) If I had gone ahead #4 might be gaining 15 s/d - who knows? Serendipity! :D

Told you the C5SL could make a break for the lead! Congratulations Steve. As you say, a very well regulated watch there, as is the Nomos. #4 or #20, who cares, just enjoy the accuracy and the style.

Well, I did in fact keep it going and the winner is...

...with a score of +8 seconds for the week...

Mind you, the loser didn't do too badly either with a score of +10 seconds.
