Not sure about the USA, Jon, but I got mine today and as you see above people have already received their watches.

Is it too soon to ask for your initial opinion, Steve.
The slimline is the only CW I would consider and I am more than interested to know what you think of it.

That looks nice, but a bit too blue for me. Mind now made up on the charcoal

It really isn't blue, or at least not that blue! I put a blue strap on it to see if it brought the blue out of it, but I can't say it did.

If I had to choose one colour to describe it I would say grey - most of the day it has been closer to that than anything - but as the sun went in it has drifted towards anthracite, if it was made of cobolt.

I think the actually colour can only be called "complicated" :)

C5-SLM-SBK, which as a product number suggests black to me, but the website clearly says blue. Photos on it look more black than blue though :)

I read that as a blue product code. S for silver/steel case, B for blue dial, K for black strap.

Was there ever any update on the blue strap that was shown in the magazine?

Ah, I was taking BK to be black.

Whatever the official designation is, and however the site photos look, I think you have to see it in the flesh to understand the colour. Certainly I can't describe it properly :)
