C5 Aviator mkII

Post by watchlover1 »

I was lucky enough to get my hands on Atnits cream-faced C5, surely deal of the year so far...brand new condition C5 mkII at £150!

I previously owned a C70 DBR1 which I just couldnt see as a long term watch so I sold it recently.Hopefully this C5 will be a keeper!Im very impressed with overall quality and its not like anything Ive owned before.Perfect dress watch IMO.
A few observations I have:

Face: one word, stunning! at 38mm this is the perfect size for my wrist,I think with shorter lugs I could wear a 40mm watch comfortably

Lugs: Quite long and not as wide as I expected.

Strap: Again not as wide as expected but this isnt an issue etc

Overall very happy with it!

Here are my shocking quality pics, they dont do the watch justice :D

Got to love those C5s. A great value for a fine watch.

The C5 is a favorite and/or a staple of many collections. Enjoy!

I like your pictures. This look is a classic, it never goes out of style whatever watch trends come and go. And to get a bargain too, what could be better? I hope you enjoy wearing it :) .

Cheers,
Jack.

Smashing watch, but a bit too small for me.

I think the C8 has already beckoned for Dave... twice if I remember correctly. :)

Lovely watch as I acquired one for my birthday last year and I have it on a bracelet.I seem to wear this one the most out of my cw's.

You bought that 10 minutes before I saw it and I would have snapped it up at that price.

I have the black face Mark II and wear it 99% of the time. Despite owning a C2 FLE and my beloved C80 Sector my C5 is my absolute favourite.

You have made a great purchase.

Nice watch. I have it on a bracelet and wear it least once a week. Love the clear simple face.
