Except one of those features is clearly communicated to the customer before buying and is a design feature rather than a clear attempt at cost cutting.[/quote]

This doesn't make any sense to me. What part of the C20 Lido has been an "attempt at cost cutting"?

In my opinion, the centre links compliment the polished hands and hour markers very nicely. Reading some of the posts on another thread about this bracelet, made me realise that there are a great many people in the world with nothing much to worry about, with a lot of time on their hands.

It felt to me that a great big band wagon was leaving and everybody was jumping on it. So many implied threats of not buying the product smacked of a "forum power" exercise, in an attempt to make Chris see things the way of a few strong willed forum members.

The watch is fabulous and is one that I find myself staring at, whilst moving it gently, as it reflects the light. I have to admit to not noticing bracelet, possibly because it compliments the watch very nicely.

There again, taste is a personal thing. I don't like the C60 purely because I find the hour hand somewhat unattractive, which makes me no better than the shiny bracelet gang, except I don't bang on about it. :D

So. you have the numbers to back up this claim ?

You want proof that using the same bracelet on several watches instead of unique ones is cheaper? Or that the sales info on the C20 is outdated by more than a year? Both are pretty clear.

The new bracelet certainly looks better quality than the old one.
