I think the problems with the C2 are as follows:

-it looks like it should be quite a delicate watch in photos, but in reality it wears much larger and therfore doesnt look dressy.

-Its perhaps a bit dated in styling looking more like a 70's seiko than some might find ideal.

-its quartz

-(and this only applies to new ones) the C2 has lots of sharp angles and creases, with a slightly squared off case, and CW have decided to marry that to a smooth, curved, bracelet. The two just don't marry.

The C2 has sadly never floated my boat. The only time i got close to tempted was the forum LE with the blue hands on the OLD C2 bracelet.

I think it all goes to show how much is all down to subjective opinion.
To me there are no 'problems' with the C2. What some may describe as dated , others may see as classic.
Definitely it's one if my personal faves in my collection, but wouldn't it be boring if we all had exactly the same tastes and ideals ? :D

A cut above your average beater but for £100 or so they can be treated like that.

It is close but no cigar.

This also has elements.
