The watch is impressive. I think it actually suits the strap better than the bracelet. I like the detail around the centre wheel with the negative space beneath the minute and hour hands.

CW pushing against the ceiling once again - kudos.

I'm not so sure on the colours, but it'll be interesting to see what comes next for this model in terms of dial colours and finishes.
Agree with all of this. What a great looking movement! Given that this was the 'difficult second album', and had to be at least a solid response following on from the effects of the Bel Canto, I'd say they've bust through the ceiling.

I also think it looks better on the strap, and have no doubts about the colours - it's white for me

The colors are something to see in person. As I said during the preview, I like the black best. In person it shows as subtle shades of gray.

Why have the launched a watch 6 months before they’re able to ship it?

Don't be. The lighting in the hands on space wasn't the greatest. I'll try to get some better pics tomorrow at CW Towers.

They are both really good. One note: this is an entirely new case so none of the other 12 straps or bracelets will fit.

As someone who owns, admires but no longer actually likes a Bel Canto I'm going to suspend judgement until I can see them in person. The new movement is a great achievement and the design and finishing are truly excellent. I'm not a fan of the small dial in general and I worry that this will be another watch I admire but end up not liking. Time, hah!, will tell.

To admire without desire to acquire is actually quite a good place to be. Apart from the fact that it rhymes, it unfetters your sense of perspective.

I really like this. It’s very thin yes, but I wouldn’t personally want 41mm. 38mm would be the sweet spot for me. I’m sure many people will enjoy this very much.

EDIT I guess it’s not that thin at 13.7mm, but the crystal is a lot of that at more than 3mm tall.

Very impressive I have to say. I sense another gong at the next GPHG. I might miss the seconds hands initially but the balance and escapement wheel should serve as suitable distraction.

I’m in the minority it appears, in that I prefer the bracelet. On the rubber strap it reminds me of a Swatch, especially in @rkovars’s pics.

This is where I am. I admire it and everything that went into it and what it hopefully foretells for the future of CW, but it’s not a watch for me.

Really impressive engineering for this watch and the accompanying documentary was fantastic. I see the look they’re going for but I’ll be admiring it from afar as I don’t want another integrated bracelet and for £4K I want to be able to switch straps!

Overall though excited to see where this takes CW.
