C11 Altus has landed. It was worth the wait :cuinlove:

Truth be told I have seen such a beautiful piece of engineering!

I have put the 50p in frame for scale also I have a 6.5in wrist.

You may notice that the stitching where the strap meets the watch is different from the prototype, I like this version more.

I would like to say a special Thank You for Wera's kind assistance and excellent communication throughout the process :applaus:
You got # 2 . Lucky boy. :D

Thanks, what can I say I wanted one from the moment I saw it,
checked the site every cigarette break I had for weeks,
noticed it was on and was the first to order.

Annoyingly though,
it has never seen the light of day outside of the same square metre I opened it in,
it has not been worn for more than 8-10mins,
the plastic covers have never been removed, only peeked back for a minute total,
and all because I have weedy wrists.

I think this might have to go back :-( :-( :-(

mine arrived.
Looks good.
But don't spend hours trying to figure out how the crown is screw-in. Despite the leaflet (mine anyway - they might have amended it) the C11 doesn't have a screw-in crown...
Not an issue but I do admit to having spent a while looking... and 'phoning them to check...

I am pretty sure that the online manual has been corrected regarding the crown.

Soon2BSoylent,

Many thanks for the pics and your honesty - have you decided it is not a keeper because of your wrist size? The reason I ask is that I am supposed to be getting one myself, and I have identical sized wrists to yourself, and to be honest it does look a little bit big on your (potentially my) wrist size - kinda like a saucer strapped to the wrist :)
Please let us know how you get on with it and what you eventually decide!

Best of luck either way

Diver69,

Thanks for the Q, I have just put mine up on offer in the forum.

If nobody wants it, it goes Saturday.

I am so sad, I lusted after this since I saw it, checked all the time, managed to get number Bloody 2 :cuinlove:
...but its just slightly too big for my personal preference.

If you have a less rectangular wrist than me I think it might work for you!

LOL - I have just spent 5 mins holding my wrist up against the computer monitor determing if my wrist is as rectangular as yours, I think is was my last desperate attempt to convince myself the watch would fit - alas I have decided no :(

Thanks for the help - you have frightened me off too!!, the watch wears very big, the wide lugs are just a "bridge too far" for my skinney litte wrists!!. Best of luck with the sale - I expect it will be snapped up :)

Thanks for the kind words!

Why not consider a C60 trident?

I asked Kip to put some comparison shots up, it looks like it will perfect for me, why not try one yourself????

Rounder lugs, set further in and the curves help more I think.

Ha - funny you should mention the C60 - this afternoon I requested an email from Wera detailing the remaining serial numbers on the Red 2012 FLE, C60 is now definately the direction I am taking - although if I got a regular C60 I could have it a LOT sooner.........decisions decisions...............
