Re: C11 Elite too fast
Hello to all.
An updating on CW assistance.
After 30 days since Elite coming back to CW, customers service told me that now is all OK with my C11 Elite.
Finally it running under COSC parameters: "It has been regulated by one of our technicians and returned to you. The COSC parameters are +6/-4 seconds per day".
Wonderful! I just only to wait return packaging with my baby...

That is a great news. It made me think again about sending mine in. It's not that +8 seconds that is bothering me but the fact that it was within the COSC before I sent it in for repairs.

Re: C11 Elite too fast
I wonder if CW would regulate any of their watches under 60/60 to within the stated spec or if it's limited to COSC versions only.

Re: C11 Elite too fast
Ok, Elite was delivered me today.
All seems ok, the technical sheet tell me that watch was regulated for accuracy (COSC parameters?) in a 3 day period!
I hope all will go well now, even if I should wanted a little more time check. Watch was at CW labs for over 30 days, so time was not a problem!
I'll check all over the week.
Thanks for effort to all. Stefano

Re: C11 Elite too fast
I'm sure they would. The spec is in the handbook and usually about +/- 16 sec/day so not too demanding.CBMVic20 wrote:I wonder if CW would regulate any of their watches under 60/60 to within the stated spec or if it's limited to COSC versions only.

Re: C11 Elite too fast
Hello to all,
in a 3 days period my Elite accuracy now is +1 sec. /day total.
This means that first day it run + 1 sec/day, second +2 sec/day total (1 + 1 ), 3rd again + 1 sec/day (lost 1 sec.).
I think Rolex don't do the same...
So I can tell that CW technician Andrew is a great professional and I'm very happy with all CW service

Re: C11 Elite too fast
+1sec over three days is only +0.33/day on average - is that what gets written down or is it +1/-1 as that's what it did each day?
Great result anyway

First 12 hour 0 sec , in 24 hour total + 1 sec/day, this first day
second day: first 12 hour 0 sec, so it running slow - 1 sec/day, in 24 hour +1 sec, so +1 sec/day
third day: first 12 hours + 2 sec, so only 1 sec/day, last 12 hours, end of the day + 2 sec total, so it running always + 1 sec/day
Finally, after 3 days watch running fast + 1 sec respect reference time (atomic clock at time.is).
I hope this help...

Re: C11 Elite too fast
Yes Ferg, I'm very happy with this accuracy, as a quartz watch!MiniMpi wrote:Great news Stefano.
So, this afternoon (I'm a crazy...) I just return my other COSC C11 too, an Extreme 1000, for same regulation.
It takes + 15/20 sec./day since its purchase so, after an year wearing, I decided to send back to CW technicians hoping in a similar result.
The Elite takes 1 month and an half between shipping and servicing, but it was necessary!
Now I love much more the Elite... it's really a chronometer.
Saluti, Stefano

Re: C11 Elite too fast
At least you have that lovely Elite to keep you happy whilst your Extreme is away.

Re: C11 Elite too fast
Finally, after 7 days checking, I can say that now my Elite gained total +3 sec. in a week!
I hope CW watch makers will do the same with my Extreme...

Re: C11 Elite too fast
Extreme come back today after only 30 days!
It seems to run - 2 sec. /day, so all it's ok with COSC parameters.
Laura refund me also shipping rates! Wonderful!
Now I'm waiting again the Elite: after 2 weeks from the return for timing, the stems broken up!
It's not covered by warranty so the total was
52 £ (+ 17 £) including shipping rates...
