I have scoured the forums but haven’t found an answer. Has anyone taken a bronze c 60 pro 300 and tried it with the gun metal bracelet? I was thinking of getting the bracelet when I order the watch. But I don’t have access to a paint or photoshop program that actually does a good job.
Thanks in advance for your time
Steve

Welcome. Do please visit the Member Introduction section and tell us about yourself.
Someone asked recently about a gunmetal bracelet with a black DLC watch, but I can’t recall it being discussed with bronze. Not obvious bedfellows, one would think.

@sclead - welcome to the forum, Steve.
I don't think I have even seen what you're looking for either.
Whether a gunmetal bracelet will look good on a bronze watch, is entirely up to you; all a matter of personal taste. I've seen black bracelets on steel watches before now, one uses black straps so why not a black bracelet? It's all a matter of aesthetics and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
It is though also a matter of the technical fit between bracelet end link and case.
In the thread link posted by Steve, above, there was a primary issue that the C60 bracelet will absolutely NOT fit suitably on the C8 case.
For you the question is more subtle. I presume you're looking at the Gunmetal bracelet from the C60 Lympstone fitted to a C60 Pro 300 Bronze.
1. They both have 22mm lugs.
2. They are both 42mm cases.
3. They will probably connect one to the other in a secure manner and without untoward gaps.
BUT
4. As the case is a Pro 300 and the bracelet is Pro 600 the lug dimensions i.e. length and height are different, albeit by fractions of a millimetre, and therefore there will be a slight mismatch between the faces of the end link and lugs.

I did some photos of this a while back to show this difference, albeit on a 40mm case, which I will try to find and post.
Hope this helps.

Re: Bronze c60 pro 300 with gunmetal band ?
I have a gunmetal bracelet, and tried it on a C60 bronze. It fits Ok, but it doesn't look right at all.
Sorry, i now see you meant a Pro 300 watch, with a 600 bracelet. I doubt that would fit, although it may. Aesthetically I don't think you would like the look, though.

Re: Bronze c60 pro 300 with gunmetal band ?
I was just thinking I could offer a gunmetal bracelet against a bronze case but neither will be Pro 300 variety. I can offer a gunmetal bracelet against a stainless Pro 300 case but I don't think that's going to inform your decision at all?JAFO wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 10:18 am I have a gunmetal bracelet, and tried it on a C60 bronze. I can’t for the life of me see how that would work tbh. I’d be interested to see some pics should you try it.sclead wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 5:04 am I have scoured the forums but haven’t found an answer. Re: Bronze c60 pro 300 with gunmetal band ?
This is the thread I referred to in my earlier post that illustrates how well or badly a Pro 300 bracelet fits on a Pro 600 case and vice versa; albeit in 40mm.
I'd expect the results to be similar for the 42mm versions.
OK, it doesn't address the Bronze / Gunmetal issue, but you need to assess the fit first.

Re: Bronze c60 pro 300 with gunmetal band ?
I just can’t envisage it, but you never know, it might work. CW supply it with a black hybrid and the black/grey tide, so the colour may work.
I think that the issue will be the end links meeting the case of the watch. If it was a third party gunmetal bracelet that just sat straight on the spring bar, then that might be better?

Re: Bronze c60 pro 300 with gunmetal band ?
It's hard to take this in artificial light, even with a cool white bulb, but here's my bronze C60, on a gunmetal bracelet. I decided I wasn't keen.

Re: Bronze c60 pro 300 with gunmetal band ?
ok thanks a ton everyone. Looking at the photo of the bracelet it looked almost slate coloured and I was trying to go off the black strap. I agree fit wise nor great and the colours don't work like I thought. Thanks again
