I think the pictures above demonstrate that this is a big watch and you need a big wrist to carry it off. I believe the owner's wrist in the photos is 7.1" (18cm), so I think a wrist of at least 7.5", possibly at least 7.75", is needed for it to look in proportion. Well, to my taste, anyway.

Or perhaps I've been wearing my BB54 too long and it's recalibrated my tastes. :)

My wrist is 7.5" and this is my 43mm Sea Dweller with room to spare on both sides. It's not just the size of your wrist, but the shape also that determines wearability. If you have a relatively flat wrist, you can wear larger watches. I've seen many folks with 6.5 -6.75" wrists that easily can wear watches of this size.

My Atoll at 40mm looks kind of tiny on my wrist. That's one of the reasons I'm considering moving it for this bronze 42.

42mm isn't it? C60 bronze ombre watches are 42mm, and presumably a bit thicker than the new one. My wrist is 7.5inch, and I find 41-43mm my favourite size, but I do think you would be best with at least a 7inch wrist.

No doubt Tim Mosso would say 15cms would work. He seems to round down from watching his demos. :D

The Oris Aquis I just posted in the incoming thread claims 43.5, but I think the 43.5 includes the crown guards, and the bezel is a much more pleasant 42mm. I am sure you will like the size of the bronze 300.

^^^ And in the end the only arbiter of watch size who matters is the person wearing the watch. :D

I would find it very hard to wear a watch like loose jewellery, but women wear bracelets and chunky bangles that way don't they (you), so I guess women are just more accustomed to doing that. :D

Exactly. My wrist size a moderate 17cm which is about 6.7 inches so going off some of the comments here and on Facebook this will look like a dinner plate on my wrist.

However I’m perfectly happy wearing my IWC chronograph which is 43mm in diameter, 15.5mm high and 53.5mm lug to lug. Although I’ve not tried this bronze Pro300 on, I expect this to be quite svelte by comparison.

I had been pondering another bronze watch for a while. I had one of the first 43mm mk2 tridents and did like that, the rather plain dial and markers that were only solid blocks of lume meant I always felt it could be better and eventually sold it.

I then had a mk2 in bronze with the blue ombré dial. I had a steel mk2 in 40mm and thought it was perfectly sized, but in bronze it looked too small. Bronze watches should look a little bigger to me.

This seems to tick all the boxes, the bigger size, great dial, I just hope it isn’t too small for my slender wrist…..

When I put a baby sized watch on my 6.75" wrist I always wonder where the watch went. Then again, I don't have Facebook telling me I'm wrong. I have a wife for that. :D  :D

If anyone has ordered one on the leather strap and not heard anything about delivery yet, I contacted CS yesterday to ask for an ETA. They apologised and said that they are waiting on stock of that particular strap (it was showing in stock when I ordered) so have kindly offered to send me the watch with one of the other straps; they'll forward the leather one on when it comes in, so I should have it for the weekend.

I ordered mine on day 1 on leather and was told by CS this afternoon that a second batch of leather straps is due in this week, when I asked if I could have it on the hybrid strap instead I was told I’d need to cancel the order and start again, don’t want to risk it.

My wrists are 7.25 inches and the 42mm Solaris fits quite well even though it is a touch above the 41mm C65s I frequently wear. I do find my 43 mm Mk2 C60 just big enough that I don’t often reach for it. The smaller profile of the Pro 300 line really suits the watch style by trimming the bulk of the Pro 600.
