…but the bronze or rose gold colored ring on the inside of the bezel really ties everything together.
I increasingly think that one small detail is the “secret sauce” on the 300s. I think that ring brings the whole watch together. It makes the 300s fresh and contemporary in appearance without overdoing it. It’s the detail I keep coming back to as the thing I love the most.
It’s always the “ sum of the parts” isn’t it @jkbarnes Are you gonna take the bait?
I know it’s not gold, it would be easy to let it patina, and then clean it again if one needed to put on the dog for a special ocassion. So we get a beautiful gold “ colored” watch for the ocassion, and a new watch in the process. I have done a good job of not repeating anything in the box, and keep telling myself there is nothing left to add. I do not have a bronze watch in the box, as I usually consider them as nothing more than a novelty. This might be the exception.

Bronze isn't my thing so I won't be picking this one up.
That being said, I think the brown dial is what makes this one sing. The brown plays really well against the bronze case.
The 300 ring is one of my complaint points of the design. For me it is just weird that the minute markings are fixed and that the pip can be placed between the markings (the bezel is 120 clicks). Admittedly it is harder to see in person (the markings are very small). I just feel that it should be a part of the bezel and spin with everything else or make the bezel 60 clicks (which is harder to pull off as the tolerance needs to be tighter).

I had the same thought - a 60 click bezel would have made a lot more sense. I like the look of the ring, but pairing with a 120 click bezel was a miss.

Since this isn't limited I'm going to hold off until I see an incoming thread or two and maybe a couple youtube reviews. But it looks terrific in the promo pictures. I need to see what it looks like in the wild.

The only problem there is that if it proves as popular as the Twelve Ti and the open series Bel Canto, you could find yourself at the pointy end of a fair old wait.
With the C60 Pro 300 Bronze, Christopher Ward has released another outstanding watch. The color combination of bronze case and brown dial/bezel insert with the distressed leather strap is marvelous. I am also glad that they released this watch at 42mm x 49.3mm which puts this outside my wearability comfort zone.
Don’t worry Christopher Ward, you will be receiving some more of my money for the C60 Atoll 300 40mm “Shark White” or this fall when you release the 36mm Twelve.

Ohh, I do love it, even if it doesn't have my dream blue dial with bronze.
But sadly, with my smaller wrists, I think it'll wear a bit big. I've been holding out for a while to see if they did a bronze 300 similar to the 600 (which has a 40mm case).
I'm probably going to go for the Baltic Aquascaphe bronze in the future, but that's a few months away while I save the pennies.
No matter where you go, there you are.
