Re: Bronze C60 300 - long overdue
I'm struggling to come up with a reason not to get this, especially with the free returns. Size is absolutely perfect for me and I love that they went with a chronometer movement.

I’m sure this group will help talk sense into you to keep you from making a hasty and irrational purchase.

I'm never that keen on brown/chocolate, but this a very nice look. It would have to be the black hybrid strap, rather than the leather.
Serious consideration. I will talk to my dear wife.

The gold certainly goes well with the watch. I've always thought the hands and indices on my green C60 ombre had a lovely glow, but that manual doesn't mention "gold". 42mm is a great size, as well.IWC 5N gold is a type of material used by the company IWC Schaffhausen to produce luxury watches. Specifically, it is an alloy that is 75 percent pure gold and 25 percent copper. People commonly refer to it as 18-karat red gold. On 1stDibs, find a large collection of IWC watches.

I instantly thought it had already been done, which makes me realise that the Cw design is working its magic and creating a familiar line and family of watches. well done CW

It reminds of the C65 black gold from a few years ago. Maybe that one?
Yes. @jimbo below is right to point out the c60 bronze ombre, which slipped my mind.

Re: Bronze C60 300 - long overdue
It is not far off the original.
The CW name has gone leaving just the flags which is OK
I like the new inner ring colour.
I feel the word "Chronometer" is just a little too big.
I love my original better with it's scratched/distressed face.
It is a fine watch, glad I already own one.
I bought a green canvas strap for mine the other day, to go with the distressed leather, and rubber straps, so can change it's look to suit whatever I am doing.
I wonder how many they will sell? as the original bronze went for 500 ltd edition.
A bronze Chronometer for a little over a bag of sand.... nice

I can see why so many like this, but 42mm? If they had done it in 50mm I'd be in

Finally looking at it on my iPad, so much bigger images. Again, wow! It’s a really beautiful watch. I can’t wait to see some real world pics.

Careful Malcolm; 44mm - 46mm would be sufficient; surely?

Re: Bronze C60 300 - long overdue
Too many variables for my beligured mind to keep up with. But, isn’t this the first time CW has offered a bronze light catcher case? It’s stunning. They have ticked so many boxes here, I hate to repeat all those already mentioned, but the bronze or rose gold colored ring on the inside of the bezel really ties everything together. I’m glad it’s not a limited edition. I need a bit of time, and I would hate to miss out on this.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

Re: Bronze C60 300 - long overdue
I increasingly think that one small detail is the “secret sauce” on the 300s. I think that ring brings the whole watch together. It makes the 300s fresh and contemporary in appearance without overdoing it. It’s the detail I keep coming back to as the thing I love the most.watchaholic wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2023 5:53 pm …but the bronze or rose gold colored ring on the inside of the bezel really ties everything together.
