When I removed the nato to fit the velcro strap, I did notice a hidden bit of verdigris, so I'll post a picture. I often think of reverting it back to its original golden colour, but never have. Here's pictures of both lugs

If I'm being honest, this is an example of why I have generally shied away from bronze watches in the past. I can live with the darkening of the metal, but the green gook just looks nasty (to my eyes anyway). I've also seen some bronze watches where the patina shows up in ugly spots rather than a more uniform way which is also a turnoff for me. Is this the only place where the green has shown up? Does this reset like patina or is it harder to get off?

I don't want my watch looking like a 20 year old penny if you know what I mean. Certain watches like the Tudor Black Bay Bronze develop a very pleasant patina but other brands don't. I'm not sure of the composition of CW bronze or how much tin they use.

Yes I was surprised. Maybe the lugs got scratched somehow. I fitted a bracelet briefly (not a bronze one) to see what I thought, and wasn't impressed, but maybe that scratched the metal. There's a tiny bit of green on top of a lug end as well, they might have been caused by spring bars scratching during strap changes. It looks far worse in a magnified image than in real life. :D

Just received my watch today on the hybrid strap!
DHL delivery is uber fast. No complaints!

All good in the box except I received an owner’s manual for the ‘c60 Trident Bronze’ instead of the C60 Pro 300 Bronze.

Anyone else got the same? Is this new launch so new that CW has yet to produce the new Owner’s Handbook?

That’s the only dampener so far!
The slim case and the proportions … 42mm fits nicely! Awesome!

Really love the brown colour and shine on the watch now. Dunno how i will feel when patina sets in and it becomes dull or w green patches.

I really think the design, proportions, movement and look of this is so amazing! We Shld have a rose gold model of this so it retains the look! Any seconders?

I suspect it was an error in picking and boxing. The new handbook is definitely there, see the Archive link below.

View model here and click the link to Owner’s Handbook

You can download it from the Archive, but if you contact CW I’m sure they will send you the correct book.

Thanks! I just did. Dropped CW an email as feedback. Also hoping they would send a complimentary leather strap together w the correct owners handbook! 😁
I dun really need a hard copy of the manual, but it just felt incomplete and dare I say embarrassing that CW could make such a mistake.

Having the box and all the correct papers can be very useful if you ever come to sell the watch.

I currently have 6 CWs, and have had numerous others.

I don’t post pics, but can definitely say it has all happened

Most watch brands ship a tiny comprehensive manual that covers every type of watch they do. Often with tiny print and in 10 languages. It's probably time CW left it as a welcome letter and a downloadable manual, given they are an online brand.

I saw too many very nicely taken photos, so not keen to show my amateurish ones.

But for the record, my first CW!! Love the dial!
The bronze is losing its shine fast!! After being exposed to a bit of my sweat, can see the case near the back becoming dull and greenish within hours!

The crown also seems to dull almost immediately after I touched it to wind and set the watch.

You did just fine! Thanks for posting. I don't want some slick overproduced, over filtered photos of this watch. Your pics look great. Congratulations again! Really a cool watch

...and yeah that patina will set in quickly. Bronze watches look good with that darker look though. Let it set in and you can always reset it later if you choose, most of the way anyhow. That brown dial will look really good with a brown patina I have a feeling.
