I have 4 CWL bronze watches, two 65's and two C60's and I wear them frequently. I've never had any green transfer. None of the four have developed any green but have all patinated very well. One I took swimming in the ocean... no green.

Never mind, I'll wait patiently for something that is.
Totally this (although a black ombré C65 would be considered)

I would love to see the “Christopher Ward” print is in bronze ink. To be honest, I dislike the current print on the brand name especially on the matte dial that looks cheap.

Montblanc did a 1858 watch in bronze with a green dial. I can't find the basic watch at the moment, but this link is the chronograph version. I am not sure how much I like it, as the colour seems a little washed out, if you will. It does come on the fabric strap.

Same here, the crusty green effect needs salt and heat (or it can be fauxtinated), so we don’t see that so much in the Britain. My experience with patina on bronze has been a darkening of the metal, which is easily removed. Getting it back to raw takes more time, but a quick clean takes literally 60 seconds with lemon juice and a cotton bud.

I think bronze with green ombré would be a marvellous combination, a date at 6 appeals too, but I’m not so keen on the full bronze relief bezel so may not be tempted.
My name is 0uatiOW, but before you ask, no I don’t.

Wait until the bronze goes all manky then you can have green and green. And green wrists as a bonus! You could become the Green Man.
If this happens, it could be CW's version of the "Hulk".

That’s hot. Too bad I already have that dial on a steel watch.

I may just buy this one, too!

I’ve been living in a protective bubble since March 2020, and I’m still distressed. :?
You said it brother!

Whilst on the one hand a reality of "don't socialise much these days" points towards needing fewer watches rather than more, I find comfort in the counter argument that not going out justifies a bigger comfort blanket.

I'm interested. That's all I'm saying.

I second Andrew. This resonates with me too!

I’ll be watching this release with itchy fingers on my wallet.

Where I live in Colorado I don’t see any pandemic effects still in society around me. Everywhere is packed. People seem done with it.

Are people still very cautious in the UK?

For me, it’s less about the pandemic and more about realizing that, at my present age, I don’t particularly like people or crowds anymore! I’ll just stay home, thank you.

Stats are rammed down our throats daily on the news, masks are still supposed to be worn in shops and there's still hand sanitizer in most shop doorways as well as social distancing stickers on the floors and "max number of shoppers allowed in the shop" posters on the doors, meanwhile sporting events are filled to capacity. There are also random "road signs" directing people to vaccination and test centres and I don't even live in an area that has it bad. Supposedly there are still so many cases it's messing up transport of food and the like, menus are reduced due to staff shortages.

Did any/all of this ever happen in the US or is this one of those things where the U is a lie and every state does it's own thing so you can't really answer?
